Well as it turns out 1 Guy 5 Shotguns is nothing more then the wet dream of some redditor who wishes lynchings like these were a lot more common. Plagued Moth claims he knows the identity of the perpetrator of this hoax, but won't disclose any personal information about the person, and only described him as "some child diddler on Reddit" who made the hoax up and spread it around. He also stated that he first believed the creator of "MDPOPE 5" (aka OfficialThomasMD on Reddit), a parody of the "[[MDPOPE]]" series, started the rumor. However, he does claim the the troll did contribute to the hoax on Discord by claiming the video was real, but later changed his mind and claimed the video doesn't exist.
Although multiple people have been unsubstantially blamed for the rumor, the earliest person to mention the video is known only as "The Frying Pan Man", who informed Plagued Moth of the video as he was accepting suggestions for his iceberg in his Discord server.
