The Green Ribbon of Death is a screamer video uploaded on YouTube in May 19, 2008 by haloatlantis.
The video shows images captured by the channel owners' computers to demonstrate an effect known as the "Green Ribbon Of Death". The video prompts the player to take a closer look by placing their face on the screen. At 30 seconds, an image of Zombie Spider-Man from Marvel Zombies: Fantastic Four appears along with the creator's scream that is neither particularly convincing nor frightening. The video then cuts to a video of some shelves with the creator saying, "Payback is a bitch!"
It’s unclear what the context of the video was; it’s plausible that, because of the ending, it was meant as revenge for something, maybe another screamer.
