john_drowned.mov is a screamer video made by Hello_mah_baby on February 23rd, 2025.
The video begins with a clip from a UK Promo clip for They Might Be Giant's album "Flood" [1]. But before member John Linnell says the name of the album. at 0:05, an edited distorted image of Linnell appears along with a weird metallic roar along with dramatic music in the background which goes on for the rest of the video.
Backstory
This video was created due to a reddit post by Spiritual-Ebb-6974 (Also known as Jerhan2010 on this wiki) about how an image of Linnell could be turned into a screamer image [2]. That's when user Hello_mah_baby posted altered versions of the image with the third and final image being closest to the screamer image used in the video but less saturated, before posting this video.
The name of the video likely comes from the Ben Drowned creepypasta.
