Subliminal Message in the old Dude saying squadela is a screamer video uploaded to YouTube by allhailkrystal on January 19th, 2008.
The video opens with the startup sequence for the Philips CD-i game Link: The Faces of Evil. At the twenty-second mark, a text overlay claims a "subliminal message" is hidden within a line of dialogue spoken by the character Gwonam. A clip of Gwonam and Link flying during which the former says the word "Squadala" is repeated at various speeds.
The creator suggests the footage be "sped up" or "slowed down" to reveal the hidden message. At the 1:29 mark, as the clip plays in slow motion, the screen cuts to a promotional artwork from Luigi's Mansion 3 featuring a terrified Luigi. The image is accompanied by a startling scream, followed by a final text card asking, "So did you find it?"
