Number Plate Seek was a bait-and-switch shock site made in 2007, it disguises itself as a free reverse number plate lookup.

The main page provides a detailed overview along with a simple input field and drop-down button, allowing the user to enter any license plate and select its corresponding country (both can also be blank); upon pressing the Submit button, the user is taken to a fake searching page before displaying a list of fake results.

Choosing the first result (owner.php) leads to the same flash animation that was featured on Youaresogay.com. Choosing the second or third result leads to a page called address.php, which displays the same GPS animation that was used on Phonetrace.org. Both pages finish off with the message "Sorry as you can see our technology is a little buggy still". It should be noted that address.php redirects to end.php, while owner.php redirects to results.php, unlike the latter (results.php), this page has big hyperlinked text that reads "Send this joke to a friend!".

As of March 2026, the site now contains information about an infrastructure service.
