Husband Trace, also known as Husband Trace Beta, was a bait-and-switch shock site made in 2007. It disguised itself as a tracking tool for a spouse within a relationship.

The main page displays a drop-down menu and an input field, allowing users to enter a phone number and select the corresponding country. If an invalid number is provided, the user is prompted to enter a valid one. There are some hyperlinks beside it that don't do anything when clicked: "Advanced Search", "Preferences", and "Language Tools".

Upon navigating to the locate button, the user is taken to a page that displays a fake GPS tracker, a few seconds later, a GIF of a naked man giving another man fellatio appears, accompanied by a loud male moaning sound. Afterward, the message " Oh no... no... looks like your got yourself a closet homo" appears and allows the user to try again. It should be noted that the button incorrectly says "Located Your Wife" at the end.

There is an alternate site also made in 2007 called Wife Trace, in this version, the GIF is replaced with a clip of a woman being anally penetrated by a man while giving fellatio to another man, accompanied by a loud female moaning sound. This one ends with the message "Sorry pal... looks like she's one of those 75%. Time for a new one hey?".
