PBS Kids intro logo workprints is a screamer video uploaded to YouTube by DiscoverGuy1999 on February 17, 2026. The video is intended to be a 2008-style screamer uploaded to YouTube by a user named cool90sand00skidstvboi93 and created using One True Media, though the video was really created using Wondershare Filmora 15.

Content

The video starts off with the One True Media intro, followed by a title card, which is part of a continuous series of white text in the Arial font, each appearing for five seconds and appearing by zooming in for one and a half seconds. The video starts by stating that many people may remember the system cues created in 1999 for the launch of PBS Kids, succeeding its precursing block program, PTV. This is followed by videotape recordings of a few of the system cues. However, the video then states that the uploader's father, who once worked for the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) in the 1990s decade, showed the uploader a disturbing videotape recorded by the father containing rough versions ("workprints") of the system cues. The workprints are likely not authentic, and were originally created by YouTube user TapeWorm in 2023.

The workprints of each system cue begin with a five-second countdown on the left with production credits on the right. The system cues in order of how they appear in the tape are the "Dot" system cue, the "Dash" system cue, the "Dash" transformation system cue (which is incorrectly credited as "Dot"), the "Dot" transformation system cue, and the Ready to Learn funding. However, the video also states that the uploader was told by his father that the workprint of the Ready to Learn funding was intended to include a hidden secret message for just a few frames in place of one of the blank parts of the funding workprint without text, and that the message may have read "get dunged on" or "pbs kids gives you farts". The video then replays the funding workprint at full speed, before replaying the clip again at a slower speed. The clip then plays once more at an even slower speed, but at 5:35, the video abruptly cuts to the screamer from Ghost in the London Dungeon; shortly after, the video ends with credits scrolling from the top, which is followed by a black screen until the credits' music (listed below) ends. The video ends with the One True Media outro.

The video has three songs playing throughout the video: 1, audio from a Playhouse Disney bumper, 2, Flagpole Sitta by Harvey Danger (which plays a second time until the screamer portion of the video begins), and 3, Frolic, the theme from the American sitcom Curb Your Enthusiasm (which plays during the credits and continues playing afterwards). In the video's upload to YouTube by Discover, the sections of the video containing the second and third songs are completely muted due to copyright, purposely done manually by Discover prior to the video's upload, as if the imaginary uploader of the video in 2008 had to do so. Although, the video's restriction details found in YouTube Studio reveals that the first song is protected by copyright despite not being muted, though Discover was unaware of this prior to the video's upload.
