Subliminal Message in the old Dude saying squadela is a screamer video uploaded to YouTube by user allhailkrystal on January 19th, 2008.
The video begins with the startup of Philips CD-I game Link: The Faces of Evil. At around 20 seconds in, text overlays on screen saying “Subliminal Message in the old Dude saying squadela”. A clip of Link flying with the old man saying “squadela” is played repeatedly a few times. More text shows up on screen, saying “Still havent figured it out? How about I speed it up?”. The clip plays again a few times but in faster speed. More text shows up, saying “Still nothing? Let’s slow it down then….Mebbe you will hear it then”. The clip plays in slow motion a few times until the 1 minute and 29 second mark when an promotional image for Luigi's Mansion 3 of Luigi screaming appears on screen accompanied by a startling scream. The video ends with text saying “So did you find it?”
