1337hacks.com was a shock site registered in 2007. The website's name was inspired from l33tspeak, a cyber language of netspeak primarily used by hackers.

The site featured sexually explicit imagery of two professional wrestlers, accessible via a link titled "LOL BUTT SEHCS".
The "butt sehcs" hyperlink redirected users to the main shock site bloggerpals.com, which featured a broken image link accompanied by the caption "L1ol!OL!1 BELiEvE iN JEeeZUs PLZ!". This text was also hyperlinked to a subpage Penguin.html, which hosted a graphic image depicting a man engaging in a sexual act with an inflatable penguin.
As of 2026, both domains have expired and replaced by a placeholder site from GoDaddy.
ShrewsburyCollege.co.uk
Bloggerpals.com appears to be attributed to another shock site ShrewsburyCollege.co.uk, a British-hosted shock site from late 2005. The domain's name was a satirical exploitation of the acronym for the Shrewsbury College of Arts & Technology (SCAT) from Shropshire, England. The site featured a graphic photograph depicting two men engaged in an act of coprophilia involving a bicycle pump.
The site received a front-page coverage in a print newspaper, appearing in the Shrewsbury Chronicle on December 8, 2005, Daniel Kawczynski, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Shrewsbury and Atcham, formally denounced the site after it was brought to his attention by a parliamentary colleague. Publicly accessible visitor logs from the period purportedly document the IP addresses of both the reporting journalists and Kawczynski himself during their investigation of the URL. The original URL now redirects to the Shrewsbury College of Arts & Technology website.[1][2]
