Barney Special! is a screamer video uploaded to YouTube by user "hotogainc" under his "hotdoggainors" alias on April 28, 2007. The video is an edit of another, titled "Barney & Friends Hit Em Up!" and uploaded by "shadowgrinch".
The video starts with clips of Barney from Barney & Friends with the song "Hit 'Em Up" by the late 2Pac playing in the background. Throughout the video, the song is set at a very low volume level. The clip eventually gets interrupted by an image of a Barney balloon along with an extremely loud scream.
An alternate variant of the video replaces the picture of the balloon with an inverted image of a man with his mouth wide open and his eyes edited out of their sockets.
