The Green Ribbon of Death is a YouTube originated screamer uploaded in May 2008 by haloatlantis.
The video shows images captured by the channel owners' computers to demonstrate an effect known as the "Green Ribbon Of Death". The video prompts the player to take a closer look by placing their face on the screen. At 30 seconds, a creepy picture of Zombie Spider-Man with an open jaw appears along with a loud, male scream. The video then cuts a video of some shelves with the creator saying, "Payback is a bitch!".
