About the Screamer Wiki
The Screamer Wiki, formerly known as the ScreamerChecker Wiki, was founded on November 11th 2013 by HLDK, with the simple goal to index all screamers ever made. It has since then grown to 250+ articles, more than 50 active contributors, and over 10,000 weekly visitors.
Timeline
2013
- November 11th, 2013 — HLDK founded the ScreamerChecker Wiki. He created only four pages, before leaving the wiki for a long time.
2014
- The wiki had almost no activity for all of 2014.
2015
- January 21st, 2015 — Kianlolcat99 joins the wiki and creates a new page, 420yolo.com, making the wiki grow a little more.
- July 16th, 2015 — After a year and a half on inactivity, HLDK comes back and makes a post thanking Kianlolcat99 for his work. At this point, the wiki continued to grow even bigger; more and more people came in everyday.
- July 31st, 2015 — A big change happened for the wiki. Sumpy merged the original Screamer Wiki with the ScreamerChecker, and took us far.
- August 1st, 2015 — ScreamerChecker Wiki gets its first and biggest redesign. The wiki changed logos, and was made completely different.
- August 4th, 2015 — ScreamerChecker Wiki drops the word Checker and adopts a new name, Screamer Wiki, after the wiki expanded and new categories of screamers.
- August 24th, 2015 — Screamer Wiki passes the milestone of 100 pages.
- August 29th, 2015 — The Agor.io page marks a record with 10,000 page views.
- September 8th, 2015 — Screamer Wiki becomes available in four new languages: French, Spanish, German and Russian.
- September 11, 2015 — A second redesign was made. The theme, logo and cursor were changed.
- December 2015 — Screamer Wiki becomes the biggest home of screamers ever created, with an impressive record of over 250 pages.

Purpose
The Screamer Wiki, formerly known as the ScreamerChecker Wiki, had the original purpose to let people check if a website was a screamer or not by searching the name of the website on the wiki. Since then, the wiki slowly started to open up and expand to more types of screamers. The wiki now has pages about shock sites, games, and many more.
Evolution of the logo
The logo of the Screamer Wiki has evolved a lot in the last two years and has underwent some major changes. The first two logos have originally had the words ScreamerChecker Wiki. After the wiki dropped Checker and went for Screamer Wiki, the logo was changed as well.
1st logo — November 2013 to August 2015
The first logo was used before the Screamer Wiki redesign. It was used when the wiki was made all the way to the redesign on August 1st, 2015.
2nd logo — August 1st 2015 to August 4th 2015
The second logo was introduced on August 1st, 2015 during the redesign. It looked like the latest one, except the name has Checker, and it had only one skull on each side instead of three different emojis.
3rd logo — August 4th 2015 to September 11th 2015
The third and newest logo was introduced when the ScreamerChecker Wiki was renamed to Screamer Wiki. This logo dropped the word Checker to have only Screamer Wiki. There are three emojis: a skull, ghost, and a purple devil, on the right of the words by order.
4th logo — September 11th 2015 to present
The fourth logo is a slight variation from the last logo. This one was introduced on September 11th, 2015, when the wiki adopted a new theme color. This logo is still being used today.
Members
The following list shows notable people who made big contributions to the wiki, and a little info about them.
HLDK
Making his first edit in November 11th, 2013, HLDK is the founder of the Screamer Wiki. He is mostly known by his YouTube channel, AnimatorXP, which currently has over 3,500 subscribers. He is also Danish.
Sumpy
Joined July 28, 2015, Sumpy has made over 3,500 edits. Before joining this wiki, he was the owner of the original Screamer Wiki. He then found the ScreamerChecker, and merged his wiki with us, making the Screamer Wiki become completely different in a good way. Sumpy is also French, and he now lives in Canada.
Kianlolcat99
Joining January 21, 2015, Kianlolcat99 made the wiki community grow bigger, helped enforce the rules when HLDK was gone, and has made over 350 edits.
Abinadabi
Joining July 12, 2015, Abinadabi made countless edits. He is most known for knowing multiple languages. Abinadabi is ranked 4th on the wiki for the most points on badges.
