Persistence of Vision Test was a flash screamer game that was created and hosted on the Badgerville website in 2005.
The game instructed the player to stare at a small black dot in the center of a white background while various instructions such as "Continue concentrating on the dot" appeared on the screen. Two black lines eventually appeared above and below the dot, and the game asked the player to focus on these as well. However, after about 30 seconds, a picture of a human skull suddenly appeared, covering the dot while emitting a loud scream.
