The GIF depicts a Siberian Husky next to a concrete wall, being beaten by a shovel five times in the head and his body. The image was commonly spread on 4chan in the early 2010s but was later forgotten about. Later on, in late 2015, the image started being spammed again, causing the GIF to become popular.[3]
