Garfield's Scary Scavenger Hunt 2 is the second in a series of two point-and-click flash games by Garfield.com. In both games, the goal is to navigate Garfield through a haunted mansion to collect donuts and muffins. Certain objects within the mansion will scare Garfield once they are clicked on, causing the "Scare-O-Meter" at the bottom to go up a bit. Once the meter is full, Garfield will chicken out and the game is lost.

Garfield's Scary Scavenger Hunt 2 is a sequel to Scary Scavenger Hunt on Garfield.com. The game itself is a point and click adventure where you help Garfield navigate a haunted mansion in search of sweets such as donuts and escape, while also avoiding being scared. Scary Scavenger Hunt 2 contains a screamer where you are told to look at a picture of Garfield sleeping. After 15 seconds, a demonic face pops up on the scream accompanied by a loud roar, before reverting to normal gameplay. This occurs in the Gallery area of the mansion, where you click on the picture of Garfield sleeping mentioned above.

As of June 19, 2020, the screamer was removed, along with the website due to Paws, Inc. being acquired by Viacom (now known as Paramount Global).

Both games take place within the same mansion, but with added areas and some minor changes, so some objects that resulted in triggering the screamer in the first game might be necessary to find an item or complete a puzzle in the sequel, and vice versa, to know how to complete the game, click here.

As of June 19, 2020, the screamer was removed, along with the website due to Paws, Inc. being acquired by Viacom (now known as Paramount Global).

Mansion's Gallery

Unlike the first game, it contains a screamer at one point, which is found in the mansion's gallery. On the right is a painting of Garfield sleeping, and clicking it will zoom in on the picture, with instructions saying "Study this picture very closely" while the Heads-Up-Display claims that "There's an important clue hidden in this picture". After about 30 seconds, however, a cartoonish demonic pig appears very briefly on the screen accompanied by loud and evil laughter, followed by a text saying "GOTCHA! Click anywhere to go back", while the HUD on the right will says "Just kidding!".

The gameplay will then resume as normal. the screamer is not necessary to complete the game, and it will not increase Garfield's scare meter. Because of this screamer, the game has gotten some criticism.
