''Hotel Remorse'' is a survival horror game in which players take on the role of Norman Chambers, a lost guest wandering through a haunted hotel. The game begins with a message reporting a gunshot heard from the hotel on October 2nd, with guests quickly evacuating to safety. Upon starting the game, the player finds a note on a table before moving to the corridor. As the player progresses down the corridor, a piece of paper on the floor catches their attention and a light suddenly goes out. Upon entering another room, the door suddenly closes behind the player, trapping them inside. They then come across a dressing table door leading to another corridor, where a ghostly figure suddenly moves away from them. As the lights in front of the player go out, a loud and ominous sound is heard. The player eventually encounters a crying baby in the background, and finds a note indicating that the room is empty. Suddenly, one of the corridors begins to move violently, almost crushing the player, who manages to find a key and escape to an empty room. In this room, they encounter a note about a mysteriously moving bed and a feeling of eerie quiet.
The game begins with a message on Saturday, October 2, that there were several reports of a single gunshot heard from a hotel, and the occupants of the hotel were quickly evacuated from the hotel in the search of safety. Right after that, it cuts to the game as a loud shot plays. The player sees a note from the table and goes to a hallway. As the player goes to the middle of the hallway, the player goes to the end of a hallway where the player sees a note laying down on the floor, one light suddenly shuts off. The player goes to another room, and the door suddenly closes behind the player. The player sees a dresser door that leads to another hallway, as the player enters the hallway, a ghost suddenly moves away in front of him, and the loud terrifying sound plays as the lights go out in front of the player.

Upon returning to the corridor, the layout has changed completely, and the player discovers another note warning them of a demon that is threatening to capture them. The demon suddenly appears, forcing the player to run for their life. After narrowly escaping, the player finally reaches an elevator, which seems to be their last chance for survival. However, the elevator suddenly begins to shake violently, and the number on the entrance changes to 666. The demon rushes towards the player with the lights off before abruptly disappearing. Upon exiting the elevator, the player enters a darker corridor, where a flash of scary faces suddenly appears with a loud roar and a sound, before the screen fades to black (presumably indicating the player's death).

The light later flickers on and the player goes over the light. The baby suddenly cries in the background, and the player sees a note, stating that person has nobody in it. After that, the lights suddenly turn on, and the player sees a door in front of the player, but one of the hallways begin to violently move to crush the player, and the player quickly finds the key, and opens the door, into a room of nothing, but a baby crib mysteriously moves in front of the player and sees a note that the whole place is very silent.
As the game seems to be over, emotional music plays with a tribute to the game's creators, Charlie Behan and Raddy Peid. However, the peaceful picture is interrupted by a sudden and terrifying image accompanied by the same loud roar, before the message "Thanks for playing ;)" appears, signifying the end of the game.

The player goes back and the hallway is very different, and the player finds another note laying in the T-section of the hallway, sees a note that the demon is threatening to catch the player. The demon suddenly appears and the player must have a run for it, and the player finally reaches an elevator, just in time to save the player's life. However, the elevator suddenly begins to shake very violently, and the hallway number elevator changes to 666, the demon suddenly runs toward the player as the lights go out, and the demon suddenly disappears in front of the player. But as the player goes out of the elevator leading into a darker hallway, a big flash of scary faces suddenly pops up with a loud roar as the loud sound plays as it cuts to black (presumably killed the player). The game seemed to be over as emotional music played with Made By @CahrlieBehman. The picture shows a hamster with a tribute of T-bag, but it was interrupted with a scary picture suddenly appearing once again with the same loud roar playing, as the message says "Thanks for playing ;)" and the game ends.

However, the peaceful picture is interrupted by a sudden and terrifying image accompanied by the same loud roar, before the message "Thanks for playing ;)" appears, signifying the end of the game.
