Buzz Buzz encounters a UFO-like enemy called the Shadow Invader, with a low-pitched version of Battle Against a Machine playing during the battle. During the battle, the Shadow invader summons the Spectral Mook, followed by the Starman Eclipse. After the battle ends, Buzz Buzz opens a box in which he finds and takes a Psycho's Lunch, then goes down a hole. After Buzz Buzz goes down the hole, he finds Ness who crawls towards Buzz Buzz but then disappears. After that Buzz Buzz goes into an entrance that leads him to Magicant in which he follows Ness' ghost, then opens a coffin in which he finds and equips the Wings of Gaia. After that, Buzz Buzz leaves Magicant, then enters a tunnel in which he discovers a large, growling shadowy monster, but Buzz Buzz gets away from it.
