(video game)|''P.T.'']], accompanied by a loud scream from the site's creator. The website employed a [[malicious script]] designed to prevent users from closing the site by displaying an alert box labeled "''Did you try to close the window?''". This script only functioned on ''[[wikipedia:Internet Explorer|Internet Explorer]]'', and attempting to access the site on other browsers such as Chrome or Firefox would result in the users browser crashing. The website was ultimately shut down on November 17th, 2016.
