So Satisfying Paint Peeling is a series of TikTok bait-and-switch screamers created by Jason (@thecaulkanator).

The first video was released on December 6, 2020, which was of Jason peeling the paint out of a dried paint can. Right after the dried paint is peeled off (leaving the can itself clean, a spider pops up with a scream. A later version was released a day later with the caption "So Satisfying"; this version got over 55 million views.

A second video was released on December 10, 2020, which has Jason, again, peeling dried paint out of a dried paint can, however, there is no screamer immediately. Instead, after the paint in the can is removed, Jason turns the can over where a spider from under the can jumps into the camera with a scream.

There are some variations, including the one where someone opens a rock, the same spider appears.
