Later, on May 5, the website updated with a link above the screamer that led the user to a blog that was written by the creator himself, stating that someone asked him to purchase the domain (among other things). After that, on October 1, the website again updated and now directed the user to a Facebook link to the creator's account, as mentioned earlier. On March 2012, the website had a link to [https://web.archive.org/web/20120413105733/http://www.tmdchina.net/ TMDChina.net], where the creator posted several blogs. Right next to the TMD link, there was a hyperlink that redirected to an Oranum chat. In 2013, the same content of the website remained, but the link to the blog was removed. The file interestingly later changed to "s.swf", and the title changed to "SHAFOU" which rapidly switched from capital to lowercase. On February 2016, the website link to the creator's blog was added again. Later on, the website was replaced and turned into a redirect to [[Herobrine.com]], presumably made by the same creator. However, the next year, the website reverted to the same content, but with a picture of [[Regan MacNeil]] instead of a .swf file. A link to [[Herobrine.com]] was added above. [[Herobrine.com]] at the time was a blog website, and the "Home" link redirected to Shafou.com, revealing that the author of Shafou.com and [[Herobrine.com]] are most likely the same person. After some time, the link to [[Herobrine.com]] was removed, and both of them later changed to have the same content after 2 years.
