Anti-Piracy Screen - Splatoon 2 (2017)
Anti-Piracy Screen - Splatoon 2 (2017) is a bait-and-switch screamer video made by user C H M E E Z E on March 8, 2021, it disguised itself as an Anti-Piracy screen that tricks the viewer who has owned the game (breaking the DRM too) to play Splatoon 2, a sequel to third-person shooter game Splatoon.
The video begins with the gameplay of the actual game as the Nintendo Switch anti-piracy measure is shown. As implied, the notice will appear by displaying messages such as "You Are A Theif" with Shepard's Tone audio illusion playing, as the inking progressively zooms in into the screen. Right once the warning is about to end, a distorted-eyeless picture of Marie pops up with loud distorted audio of Penguinz0's phrase "Woo Yeah Baby!" (used in other Anti-Piracy screen videos), The scream in this video would later be used for the uploader's other anti-piracy measure videos of video games. After the screamer, the video cuts to another warning displaying a murdered inkling in squid form laying in some form of liquid, and the bottom of the message asks the viewer that the save files will be wiped out of the game.
