"The Green Ribbon Of Death" is a YouTube originated screamer uploaded in May of 2008 by user holatlantis.
The Video
The video has recorded footage of the channel owner's computer to demonstrate an effect on it known as the "Green Ribbon Of Death". The video tells the player to watch closely by putting their face in the screen. After 30 seconds in total have been passed, a creepy picture of Spider-Man with an open jaw pops up with a man screaming. The video then cuts a video of some shelves with the creator saying, "Payback is a bitch!"
