Basement Ghost

Basement Ghost (also known as "Ghostly Picture!") was a 30-second long flash screamer that was uploaded to Geocities in 2002 by a user named patlee_69. The site in which this screamer was hosted on can be only be accessed through the Wayback Machine.

The animation shows an extremely grainy photo of a dimly lit basement. From there, nothing else happens until after 22 seconds, when suddenly, a cutout of a zombie from the 1981 horror film The Evil Dead flashes onscreen for a single second over the basement image alongside a high-pitched, echoed scream.
