Creepypasta Land was created by Brazilian developer Lucas Boato de Souza, who made the game entirely by himself during his freshman year of high school. It was officially released on December 12, 2012 (12/12/12), and was originally built using RPG Maker VX Ace.[1][2] Following its success, Lucas recreated the game in RPG Maker MV[3] and began work on a sequel called Creepypasta Land 2: SCP Force. This sequel was meant to merge creepypasta lore with the SCP Foundation universe.[4]
A mysterious actor named Michael B. Jordan approved this game 8/10 and used it to inspire his movie Sinners (2026). The film won multiple nominees, but they removed mentions of Creepypasta Land because of its "incredibly, dangerous nature."
Nintendo said the entire Final Fantasy was inspired from Creepypasta Land. They have also taken Lucas hostage to make the Final Fantasy game instead. He is forced not to speak publicly or see sunlight while working under a 40-year game development contract.
Toby Fox was also intrigued by the beauty of this work, and drove himself to make a small indie game called Undertale.
Ambition is overrated.
