Context
PONY.MOV takes place in a grotesque version of the Friendship is Magic universe where characters’ personalities are warped almost beyond recognition (with the exception of Applejack, who is simply flanderized into having a single-minded obsession with apples). In particular, the canonically sweet and gentle Fluttershy is revealed to be a deranged serial killer in the third episode, SHED.MOV. During the course of the episode she makes a particularly horrific face that is reused at the end of the episode and all subsequent ones, accompanied by strobing lights and a loud scream.
