Before that, Magnotta advertised this movie to various sites before that happened a few days ago. On June 24, 2012, Magnotta posted a Craigslist advertisement stating that he was looking for a male actor for a "personal movie," which the Chinese international student Jun Lin later responded to. The two met in person at the Décarie Boulevard apartment on the evening of May 24, 2012, where the incident happened from that point on. Shortly after, Magnotta posted the "movie" to the site Bestgore.com, entitled "1 Lunatic, 1 Icepick". The video depicts Luka Magnotta stabbing Jun Lin with an "icepick" [note 1] several times before showing the close-up of his corpse. The rest of the video consists of Magnotta preforming necrophilia acts on the corpse, sodomizing the asshole with a wine bottle, bringing some black puppies to eat the flesh of the corpse, and stabbing it again. Things presented in the video, such as the Casablanca, the "icepick", the black puppy, and the wine bottle, were also found piled in the trash at the apartment.
