Hikaru.exe(Mostly known as "Ghost virus" or "Sadako virus" in Japan) is a japanese screamer application. It is a variant of the Win32.Joke_Ghost Joke Program. If you run it, it doesnt seem to do anything, however it is now present in memory and it triggers a payload at random times which shows a full-screen picture of a ghost girl (Similar to MCDonalds.exe but not the same) with a scream sound effect. It spreaded over the internet in early 2000 similar to MCDonalds.exe. However it is not as popular as MCDonalds.exe.
