==Can we disable anonymous editing and commenting again==
I was debating myself over whether this should be a decision, and I came to the conclusion that it's best if anonymous contributions are disabled for two main reasons. First we all know that there are not good people who come and visit. All "anonymous" contributions including comments are traced back to an ip address which is visible to everyone. Again there's people who come here with bad intention and giving them people's ip addresses is not a good idea. Second, in the week when anonymous editing/commenting was disabled, I noticed a rise in account creation. Usually people refuse to make accounts because they can edit anonymously (and have their ip addresses exposed). So in that small amount of time with anon contributions disabled, the amount of overall contributions never went down and we had higher quality edits. Also wasn't there a time when you hid the ip address (manually) of anyone who commented for privacy concerns?
Now overalll anoymous contributions are best kept disabled because the wiki is easier to manage and people's ip addreses are kept secret.{{User:Pmb1226/signature}}17:30, 24 April 2022 (CEST)
