Each image briefly appears as the player continues walking the secret area inside what appears to be a sewer, accompanied by a deep, ominous bell bang. They then reappear all at once after the heart stops beating, accompanied by a loud screech, folloed by Mickey exploding into bloody pieces. The game also features a crane that allows Mickey to hang himself on the crane, followed by him exploding into bloody pieces. Whenever Mickey dies, a black screen appears with bloody text saying "YOU DIED", taken from the bootleg NES game [https://bootleggames.fandom.com/wiki/Bio_Hazard_(Famicom) Bio Hazard], with the U.S. version of the game over music from [[wikipedia:Sonic_CD|Sonic CD]] playing, followed by a return to the main menu.
