The '''Adult Swim: The Heart, She Holler Promos''' were [[screamer|screamers]] that aired on Adult Swim from late August 2013 to mid-September 2013. During this time, Adult Swim ran a series of strange promos for the American horror comedy series ''[[wikipedia:The Heart, She Holler|The Heart, She Holler]]'', in which one of the main characters, Meemaw, would randomly appear during promos for other shows, such as ''[[wikipedia:Family Guy|Family Guy]]'' and ''[[wikipedia:The_Cleveland_Show|The Cleveland Show]]''.

At first, these promos do not sound bad, but how they worked is that during the ad breaks of late-night shows, there was a chance Meemaw would randomly pop up and scream. These were very unpredictable; for example, Adult Swim might show a bumper promo for ''[[wikipedia:American Dad!|American Dad!]]'', only to have it interrupted by Meemaw screaming for a few seconds before resuming the interrupted promo.

These promos ended up confusing and angering many people. Many posts were made to the r/AdultSwim subreddit in which many users expressed their anger at Adult Swim's choice to air these terrifying bumpers. The bumpers were taken down when ''She Holler'' aired.
