However, on the right ~~hand~~ side of the video, the scene cuts to a Japanese man ~~committing self-harm (which~~ is ~~hard~~ to ~~tell because~~ of ~~its blurriness)~~. ~~The~~ ticking noise is actually the sound of the man's arm being cut.

For the majority of the video, a Japanese game show is shown on-screen while a clock-like ticking can be heard in the background. However, on the right side of the video, the scene cuts to a video of a Japanese man cutting himself, though it is difficult to make out due to the blurriness of the video. This reveals that the ticking noise is actually the sound of the man's arm being cut.
