Nintendo Power is an episode of the long-running YouTube series Angry Video Game Nerd which was created by James Rolfe, owner of the Cinemassacre channel. The video was uploaded to YouTube on June 4, 2009, but first aired on September 4, 2007.
In this episode, the Angry Video Game Nerd reminisces about his favorite childhood memories while perusing through his collection of Nintendo Power magazines. However, the video opens with a screamer that catches viewers off-guard as the Nerd pops up and shouts "ASS!" from the side of the screen. The episode then proceeds with the Nerd showcasing his SNES and N64 consoles connected to a TV and surrounded by scattered Nintendo Power magazines featuring titles such as Pokemon, Sonic, and Zelda. Notably, James reused the same gag in AVGN 166, Video Game Magazines, which premiered on March 14, 2019.
