camel_slaughter.mp4 was a shock video uploaded to YouTube by Essam Al-Ghalib, which showed two men brutally killing a camel by slitting its throat in a Saudi Arabian slaughterhouse.

Content

The video begins with the text "Camel Slaughtering" and a warning that the content may be disturbing or offensive to some viewers. It shows a camel being dragged over while screaming as some men pull the camel over while another man pushes the camel. It then transitions to the same camel being dragged to the slaughterhouse, screaming as it falls, and a man sitting the camel down and pulling its tail to the other direction. Four men arrive and one of them grabs the camel the neck and slices its throat open, splattering blood on the floor. As the camel dies, a man uses water to clean the floor, ending the video.

Spread

A Roblox user would post the video on the now-defunct Roblox forum. It would then begin to quickly spread across the forums as trolls would post links to the video begging another member to click it on the link provided to bait them. The video gained more attention when Toastee mentioned it in his Roblox iceberg video. A creepypasta entry based on camel_slaughter.mp4 was submitted in 2021 right way before the iceberg, which would later be put on candidate for deletion on 2023.
