The website, known for its controversial and disturbing content, gained significant attention with the release of "Cagar Las Tripas", a video showcasing an extreme prolapse that quickly went viral. While the video was widely criticized for its graphic nature, it generated a massive influx of comments and video reactions that brought in a significant number of visitors to the website. The site continued to upload shocking videos in order to maintain its popularity, including the infamous "Vampire" video, depicting a woman playing with her period, which originated from another shock site, Vampirecunt.com. Throughout 2012, the site uploaded videos featuring gruesome murders, executions by Mexican drug cartels, and other bizarre and inexplicable content, including 2 Guys 1 Chainsaw, 1 Lunatic 1 Ice Pick, and 3 Guys 1 Hammer. While the content may not be for everyone, the site takes pride in its ability to shock and entertain its audience, and continues to push the boundaries of what is acceptable.

On June 24, 2013, the LMDLG website was shut down by Blogger due to accusations of spamming. The closure was a significant blow to the site's administrator and its followers. However, after a few weeks, the site was successfully restored by Nerou, the site's founder. Unfortunately, all content posted on the site between 2008 and the shutdown was lost permanently. Some content was retrieved using the Wayback Machine, but the majority of the content was lost. Following the shutdown, the site moved to Tumblr, but it experienced multiple additional closures, including in June 2014 and from February 2015 to January 2016. These shutdowns, coupled with the loss of content, caused the site to lose visitors. In its later years, the site reverted to posting content similar to its original form, which included videos of ISIS executions, drug cartel activities, fetishist videos, and extreme body modifications, as well as the well-known videos of worms that characterized the page. In 2017, the site closed permanently, bringing an end to almost nine years of sharing shocking material on the internet, primarily in the Spanish-speaking community.
