FunkyTown is a shock video uploaded to an unknown website sometime around 2016-2017. The video was made by a Mexican drug cartel, possibly Jalisco_New_Generation_Cartel.

It is a 2 minute and 50 seconds video of a rival gang member being tortured and beheaded. The member also had his hands and face cut off while laying in a pool of blood and screaming in pain. After 50 seconds of torture, some guy cuts his neck using a sharp tool, followed by a man shoving the grip part of a hammer down his throat.
FunkyTown is a 2 minutes and 50 seconds long video of an unknown man being savagely tortured, while "Sweet Child O Mine" by Guns n' Roses is heard playing. The man is seen tied up on the floor with what appears to be plastic wire and is hooked up to an IV which is pumping his blood with drugs to keep him alive longer while the cartel members torture him. Soon, he has hands chopped off with a knife, his face skinned and cut off and his eyes gouged out while he lays in a pool of blood and screams and gurgles in pain.

The man, who now barely resembles a person, manages to get his arms untied and tries to reach for his face. Keep in mind that the man now has now face, no eyes, and no hands.

After 50 seconds of torture, a cartel member slits the mans throat with a box cutter, but doesn't fully behead him. The video does not capture the final moments when they cartel ends up completely killing the man.

The reason why the video was named "FunkyTown" is most likely because one of the gang members starts playing the song "Funky Town" by Lipps, inc. at the end. Either that or the creator was (or wasn't) a big fan of Shrek 2, a sequel to the 2001 computer-animated comedy film Shrek.
