Ms. Pac-Man or Ms. Pacman is a shock video of the agonizing moments of a woman from Guatemala shortly before her death. The woman in the video is 32-year-old Alejandra Icó Chub, who was brutally murdered with a machete by her romantic partner Mario Tut Ical on October 29, 2018, in Chisec, Alta Verapaz in Northern Guatemala.
Context
Alejandra Icó Chub was a 32-year-old woman living in Guatemala with her three children. She was in a romantic relationship with Mario Tut Ical, who was about 42 at the time of the murder, even though he was still married to another woman. Mario was extremely violent, controlling and abusive towards Alejandra in their relationship and also with his wife. Mario believed that Alejandra was unfaithful to him and was cheating on him, although his beliefs were unfounded.
On October 29, 2018, a violent argument broke between them when Alejandra told Mario that she did not cheat on him, and he didn't believe her. He then slashed her face and cut her hands with a machete and left the crime scene. The neighbors heard Alejandra's agonizing screams and went to her home. They saw her injured and in immense pain, then called the police. Unfortunately, the police was slow to arrive because they were about 45 minutes away from Alejandra's community. The neighbors saw the woman suffering in horrible pain for over 30 minutes before she finally succumbed to her injuries. During this time before the police and ambulance arrived, one of the neighbors filmed Alejandra's agony with their phone, which will later be known as the Ms. Pac-Man video. By the next day, the video had spread on the Internet. After the murder, Mario Tut Ical tried to flee to Mexico, but was caught and arrested on October 31, 2018. He was sentenced to 50 years in prison for the femicide.
The murder of Alejandra Icó Chub rose awareness to femicides in Guatemala and violence against women.[1][2]

In the 1 minute and 29 seconds long video, we see Alejandra's severed hands and her mutilated face, while screams and crying can be heard in the background. It is not clear who is heard screaming and crying in the background (possibly her daughter or one of the neighbors). Alejandra's face is completely split in half, the severe cut going from ear to ear through the bridge of her nose, hence the name "Pac-Man". Alejandra tries to scream and breathe, but struggles to do so due to her severe injury. Her eyes are open and her nasal cavity is completely exposed.
