GTA 6 Download is a bait-and-switch screamer website created by SodaRev! (also known as PopTop) in July 2024, it disguises itself as a legitimate website to download the upcoming 2025 game Grand Theft Auto VI for free, which it is not. The domain is hosted on the cloud hosting service Netlify and ChatGPT was partially used to helped make the website.
Upon entering the website, the user is greeted with an image of the Grand Theft Auto VI cover moving side to side, and some text underneath it which reads "Welcome to the GTA 6 download page, here, you can download GTA 6 for free, there is also no virus! And it's 100% legit!", below this is more text written in bold, saying "Click on the link below to download!" and a link labeled "Click here!".
