View source for User:MediaWiki default

This account is used by '''[[Wikia:Wikia, Inc.|Wikia, Inc.]]''', in particular by the [[wikia:Technical Team|developers]] when they run the maintenance script <code>rebuildMessages.php</code>. The script is part of [[wikia:MediaWiki|MediaWiki]], it updates or rebuilds the interface messages to be equal to the MediaWiki default on Wikia.

This account is not a bot and cannot be blocked. If there is a problem with the text of the default messages, please inform the [[wikia:Community Team|Community Support Team]].

Requests to start or stop the script should be made to Wikia staff on the [irc://irc.freenode.net/wikia #wikia] channel on irc.freenode.net (you can use [http://irc.wikia.com irc.wikia.com] alternatively).
