Winterrowd.com is a well-known website full of screamers made by a man named Jeremy Winterrowd. There are games and videos designed to trick people to get scared, like The Maze, Hit the Dot, Optical Illusions, Swearing Baby and more.

The website was made in 2001, when his first screamer under the name of What's Wrong was uploaded. In 2003, Kikia was uploaded to the website, which was one of the first screamers ever. After Kikia was uploaded, the website became a little known. Then in 2004, The Maze was uploaded, which was popularized by one of the first reaction videos posted on YouTube, which consisted of a dad named Chad who pranked his stepson named Justice, the kid started hitting the monitor in fright after the possessed face of Regan MacNeil from the 1973's classic horror movie The Exorcist pops up, which today it got over 27+ million views today. The Maze became a huge success and lots of videos were circulating around the internet of footage of the game and reactions. In 2006, Jingle Bells Reversed was uploaded, which was also one of the most memorable screamers in the website. In 2007, Where's Waldo was uploaded to the website.

Winterrowd also held a contest in that same year called the Winterrowd Prank Contest, where you had to record the reactions of someone and upload them to the website and he would upload them to a channel named prankcontest. The website was getting bigger and bigger everytime there was a screamer uploaded, depending on how famous it was and how many reaction videos there ever was. The website was also very controversial, considering that it had many scary games and videos, but overall, it had a very good reputation, and it can be considered the father of all screamers.
