About the Screamer Wiki
The Screamer Wiki, formerly known as the ScreamerChecker Wiki, was founded on November 11th 2013 by HLDK, with the simple goal to index all screamers ever made. It has since then grown to 250+ articles, more than 50 active contributors, and over 1,000 visitors every day.
Timeline
2013
- On November 11th, 2013, HLDK founded the wiki under the name of ScreamerChecker. Since he made it, only 4 pages were created in total. He then left the wiki for a long time.
2014
- The wiki had almost no activity for all of 2014.
2015
- January 21st, 2015: Kianlolcat99 joins the wiki and creates a new page, 420yolo.com, making the wiki grow a little more.
- July 16th, 2015: After one year and a half on inactivity, HLDK comes back and makes a post saying that "You are awesome!" After that, the wiki continues growing even bigger; more and more people came in everyday.
- July 31st, 2015: A big change happened for the wiki. Sumpy merged his wiki, the original Screamer Wiki, with the ScreamerChecker, and took us far.
- August 1st, 2015: ScreamerChecker Wiki gets its first and biggest redesign. The wiki changed logos, the wiki was made completely different.
- August 3rd, 2015: ScreamerChecker Wiki drops the Checker and becomes Screamer Wiki after the wiki expands and new categories of websites.
- August 4th, 2015: New logo, and officially now called "Screamer Wiki".
- August 24th, 2015: Screamer Wiki passes the 100 pages milestone.
- August 29th, 2015: Agor.io page marks a record with 10,000 page views.
- September 8th, 2015: Screamer Wiki becomes available in four new languages: French, Spanish, German and Russian.
- September 11, 2015: A second redesign was made. The theme, logo and cursor were all changed.
- December 2015: Screamer Wiki becomes the biggest home of screamers ever created, with an impressive record of over 250 pages.
Purpose
The Screamer Wiki, formerly known as the ScreamerChecker Wiki, had the original purpose to let people check if a website was a screamer or not by searching the name of the website on the wiki. Since then, the wiki slowly started to open up and expand to more types of screamers. The wiki now has pages about shock sites, games, and many more.

The logo of the Screamer Wiki has evolved a lot in the last two years and has underwent some major changes. The first two logos have originally had the words ScreamerChecker Wiki. After the wiki dropped Checker and went for Screamer Wiki, the logo was changed as well.

Joined July 28, 2015, Sumpy has made over 3,500 edits. Before joining this wiki, he was the owner of the original Screamer Wiki. He then found the ScreamerChecker, and merged his wiki with us, making the Screamer Wiki become completely different in a good way. Sumpy is also French, and he now lives in Canada.
