Prolapse Man is a shock site hosted by LOLShock since 2008, with a image of the video dating back early as April 21st, 2003. The 18-minute long video stars a man who suffers from a rectal prolapse. The prolapse featured in the video appears to have also been caused by extreme anal stretching which could result in rectal damage or even surgery. The Shockchan version features a picture of a man with anal prolapse falling down or slipping out of the place of an organ or part, such as the rectum. The image can also be found on Rotten.com and Offended.
The video starts off in the man's bathroom where he points his anus at the camera. Afterwards, he proceeds to let his rectum slip out of his body while doing numerous activities such as fingering and shoving objects up his prolapse. In the last few moments of the video, the man utilizes a penis pump to suck his prolapse back out, causing it to become a darker shade of red which is when the video ends, a quick search of the site on the Wayback Machine indicates that it used to be featured on xHamster, though only through the Wayback Machine can this be seen.
There is a Snopes fact check on the photograph sent, in which it debunked a poorly-written email supposedly from CBS News of how the man was a weightlifter, and suffered from a rectal prolapse during the Pennsylvania State Powerlifting Championships written in 2003. However, various reasons debunk this, such as the photo depicting the "weightlifter" in a doorway, no such injury during that time similar to the man and the poor writing[1].
There is another version of this video called Prolapse Girl, which shows the girl, falling down or slipping out of the place of an organ or part, such as the rectum. this video showed up an anal prolapse results in extreme anal stretching, the video can merely be found on Shockchan.
On June 3, 2022, popular add-ons for the sandbox game Garry's Mod called Glue Library, Action Extension, View Extension, and Ambient Occlusion got hijacked by a person and were used to display a different image, played two extremely loud sound effects of people screaming when entering a map, which caused chaos in the GMOD community.[2]
On July 8th, 2022, Howie Mandel would publish a TikTok with him green screening the infamous image from the video while making a joke about COVID-19. Various TikTokers who saw the video would see it and make memes about the TikTok. A now-deleted censored version was uploaded to YouTube by user Maira.
