'''Offended''' is a [[shock site|shock webpage]] hosted on the website [[Encyclopedia Dramatica]]. The page was created on the original ''encyclopediadramatica.com'' website on August 17th, 2007, by a user named '''Chankachankaboo''' (later known as '''Fishing Cat''' on OhInternet). According to OhInternet, a month after the page was created, it had the Limecat image on top. Offensive pages on the site contain a template titled "Offended" at the top of the page, which attempts to trick the user into viewing the Offended page. This template includes a box displaying a looping [[GIF]] of the [[wikipedia:Wikipedia|Wikipedia logo]], [[wikipedia:The Star of David|The Star of David]], [[wikipedia:Ku Klux Klan|the blood drop cross]], and a [[wikipedia:Swastika|swastika]], along with the text "''' Offended?''' If you have been offended by "(article name)", please click here and scroll slowly down to the bottom of the page." which links to the page, the purpose of which is to offend/gross out the viewer as much as possible. Due to the page's differing legality (obscene animal abuse) in many countries, it has been blocked and unblocked in the past.
{{Offended}}
Alternatively, some articles contain a template at the top of the page titled "FED", which looks like this:
{{FED}}
In 2012, a template was added to articles relating to Islam titled "OffendedMuslims", which links to a page titled [[Reporting Un-Islamic Content]]:
{{Un-Islamic}}
In June 2022, a template was added to the Manchild article titled "OffendedKids", which links to the Offended page:
{{OffendedKids}}
In April 2024, a template was added to articles relating to Judaism titled “Jewoffended”, which links to the Offended page:
{{Jewoffended}}
[[File:OffendedPage.png|thumb|The Offended page went under multiple iterations before 2012.]]
The page begins with a message at the top of the article that reads "'''THANKS FOR YOUR CONCERN.''' Were you ''offended'' by what you just saw? Please scroll '''SLOWLY''' to the bottom of this page, and we will be happy to rectify your situation. =)" Below this message is a string of innocuous images of cute animals and girls. Under the last safe-for-work image is a gigantic montage of gruesome images depicting pornography, gore, and various other kinds of shocking and offensive content.

The original Offended page has changed a bit since its creation in 2007, and some images featured in the past are not included on the page today. However, most of the images from the very first original Offended page have remained untouched since the original page was created.

After the gigantic montage of disturbing images is a cartoon image from a comic by Toonhole Ryan depicting a couple looking at a disturbed man while saying, "Whoa... that guy's offended as fuck." along with a few other non-shocking images. In 2009, the bottom of the page contained seven lines of large text reading "''AIN'T THAT SOMETHING???!''", With each line being a different color. In 2010, an image of Patrick Star with his mouth and eyes open wide (which would later become an internet meme known as Surprised Patrick) from ''[[wikipedia:The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie|The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie]]'' and rainbow text reading "''LULZ''" was featured in the article. Various new images from the old past, such as the Hosokawa Ai image, the Kitten image, the second Kitten image, the Baby seal lion image, the Baby duck image, the Doggo image, the Raccoon image, the Alodia Gosiengfiao image, and the Lee Min-Jung image, were completely removed in later years. In 2011, a picture of former U.S. President Barack Obama was shown, and in 2018 and 2019, pictures of former U.S. President George W. Bush, former Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon, and a link to the [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQK9gg4mNIQ Offended Song] were added. In 2019, on ED's sixth domain, several new shock images were added to the page, but are no longer available due to ED's sixth domain shutting down and not all images being imported.

The bottom of the page also contains the "Offended" template as featured in many articles, except the words "click here" now link to the official [[Last Measure]] website made by the [[wikipedia:GNAA|GNAA]], which is currently hosted on the now-defunct website, '''gnaa.ga'''.

The Offended page became the Featured article in Encyclopedia Dramatica on April 14, 2011, and was advertised on the front page of the website for every visitor to see, thus tricking thousands of the site's visitors into viewing the page. The Offended page was also the featured article for April 27 and 28, 2013. Eventually, the Offended page became the crown jewel of Encyclopedia Dramatica for over 18 years since the creation of the page, and was the third most viewed article on the current site, behind "Isabella Lorreta Janke" and the article on Chris-chan (with the latter's situation being an infamous subject matter on Isabella's part). As of April 2026, it is now placed in 25th place. Several [[YouTube|YouTubers]] have made [[Reaction videos|reaction videos]] of themselves visiting the article on this site and attempting to reach the bottom of the page, adding to the page's popularity, and it has been mentioned on multiple forums during the page's heyday.

A creepypasta about the article was also made by Tsnophaljakarax on April 24th, 2017<ref>lostepisodecreepypasta.miraheze.org/wiki/Offended:_I%27m_Feeling_Lucky</ref> based on easily accessing the page by typing "Offended" in the search bar in Google, and clicking I'm Feeling Lucky. This tactic no longer works and instead redirects to a [[wikipedia:Merriam-Webster|Merriam-Webster]] entry on the term "offend". Additionally, multiple satirical wikis, such as [[wikipedia:Uncyclopedia|Uncyclopedia]], [[wikipedia:Soyjak#Soyjak.party|Soyjak Wiki]], Decyclopedia, and Dishave made their own safe-for-work versions<ref>https://en.uncyclopedia.co/wiki/Offended</ref><ref>soyjakwiki.org/Offended</ref><ref>https://desciclopedia.org/wiki/Offended</ref>.

'''Mayengg03''', also known as '''Duckpack51''' is a bait-and-switch [[shock video]] of a young man getting beheaded by what appears to be a criminal gang. The video is named after the now-deleted Blogspot where it originated from. The original video went viral on June 4th, 2021, and showed a clip of a teenage girl, possibly [[Screamer Wiki:About|Screamer Wiki]] user [[User:Anghaa03|Anghaa03]]<ref>[[Mayengg03#comment-10856|#comment-10856]]</ref>, dancing on camera before cutting to the man being executed. The video of the gory act was created on another platform, although its origin is unclear, and was spliced into a different TikTok so it could be seen and shared by unsuspecting users. [[wikipedia:The Independent|''The Independent'']] was unable to contact the user behind the video.

==Origin==
The video originated on a now-deleted Blogspot page titled Duckpack51. The video was first uploaded by the user Mayengg03 on [[TikTok]], who was banned after he uploaded the video. During the video's release, moderators at TikTok have attempted to search for the creator of the video.<ref>
kora.fal3arda.com/390704/duckpack51-blogspot-com-2021-05-tiktok-extremo-html-m-1-duckpack51-blogspot-com-2021-05-tiktok-extremo-html-m-1-youtube/amp/</ref>

At first, the video depicted a girl dancing to the song ''Dick'' by Starboy3, before cutting to the execution footage of 19-year-old Mexican criminal Rodolfo Belluci, who began his criminal career at age 15. The video took place in what appears to be either a shower stall or a locker room. Throughout the video, the executors taunt Belluci in Spanish, including the words "puto" and "pillo", which are usually used for males. They do not fully behead him in the video.

After Rodolfo Bellucci was murdered, his corpse was scattered across Cuernavaca, Morelos. The execution took place in February 2019, and the video went viral in 2021 after it was uploaded to TikTok.<ref>web.archive.org/web/20210610011845/<nowiki>https://whatstrending.com/tiktok-girl-beheaded-bathroom-rodolfo-bellucci/</nowiki></ref>

==Response==
[[File:crying.png|thumb|right|200px|During the viral spread of the video, hundreds of users on Twitter tried to warn others.]]
The edited video of Rodolfo's beheading went unnoticed by TikTok's moderation team, and immediately gained a massive amount of negative attention from TikTok users and some media networks, including Newsweek, BristolLive, etc. When asked about the video by Newsweek, a spokesperson for TikTok responded with:

:''"We appreciate the concerted effort by our community to warn about an unconscionably graphic clip from another site that was spliced into a video and brought onto TikTok. The original video was quickly removed, and our systems are proactively detecting and blocking attempted re-uploads of the clip to catch malicious behavior before the content can receive views.
:''We apologize to those in our community, including our moderators, who may have come upon this content."''<ref>https://www.newsweek.com/tiktok-graphic-beheading-video-company-response-1598107</ref>

Fake fancams

'''Fake fancams''' (also called the '''Fancam Situation''') are [[shock videos]] uploaded and shared on [[Twitter]] and [[Wikipedia:Instagram|Instagram]] pretending to show fancam clips, videos created by fans usually to promote a musician, which lured viewers into either a [[screamer]] or [[Shock site|graphic imagery]], including but not limited to snuff films and self-harm footages. The trend originally started with K-pop artists, but later expanded to other categories.

While its origins remain uncertain, the phenomenon appeared around early 2019. During its insurgence, witnesses have found clues to identify uploaders of fake fancams, such as keywords "slit" or "slitz" and symbols.

Fake fancams made a resurgence in late December 2020. @ASUKLY made a bait-and-switch image with the word "click me!", which revealed photographs of self-harm upon loading.<ref>twitter.com/czbain/status/1338182574695469061</ref> The tweet has since been removed. ASUKLY also worked with Dreamslitz (who is now banned), who released a fake [https://youtube.com/TommyInnit TommyInnit] "fancam" the same day.<ref><nowiki>http://web.archive.org/web/20201213235541/https://twitter.com/dreamslitz/status/1338271229770428419</nowiki></ref>

A Twitter account, [https://nitter.net/fancamsituation @fancamsituation], as well as the #stopusingfancamsasbait hashtag, were created to spread awareness and list uploaders to block. Multiple BlockTogether.org blocklists were also made to help blacklist uploaders of fake fancams. Many users either took a break, or censored their replies to avoid any spread of the situation.

As well as warnings of fake fancams spreading, rumors also appeared, which claimed that replying to the uploaders' direct messages would lead to either the user's account getting hacked, or having its private information revealed. These rumors have been debunked by Mutahar Anas, owner of the [[YouTube]] channel SomeOrdinaryGamers.

'''Discharges.org''' was a [[shock site]] created by a user who goes on the site as "Down" (Original copy to [[Dickcream.com]]) that hosted [[Flash]] animations, usually of a gruesome or offensive nature, that were hosted on different shock sites and other sites. It was famous way back in the mid-2000s, and was later abandoned in 2010 before being shut down in 2016. Featured material included gore, scat, pornography, and other offensive material, along with SFW material as well.

'''3 Guys 1 Hammer''' is a Ukrainian [[shock video]] recorded on July 12, 2007. It depicts two 19-year-olds, Viktor Sayenko and Igor Suprunyuk, brutally beating Sergei Yatzenko, a 48-year-old man who was recovering from surgery on his throat for cancer, leaving him unable to speak, to death in the woods. The two men became known as "The Dnepropetrovsk Maniacs." Before Sergei Yatzenko’s murder, they had already killed approximately six other people. Sayenko, Suprunyuk, and their friend, who was not involved in their murders, Alexander Hanzha, were eventually arrested on July 23, 2007, and went on trial for a total of 21 murders. After being found guilty on February 11, 2009, Sayenko and Suprunyuk of murder and Hanzha of two armed robberies that took place before the murder spree, Sayenko and Suprunyuk were sentenced to life imprisonment while Hanzha got nine years.<ref>https://casefilepodcast.com/case-92-dnepropetrovsk-maniacs</ref>

On the day of Yatzenko’s murder, the victim in 3 Guys 1 Hammer, July 12, was reported missing by his wife after he failed to arrive home after telling her earlier that day he was going out on his Dnepr motorcycle and would return by the evening. There is footage showing the two men complaining about something in Ukrainian. After a few seconds, they notice Sergei Yatzenko riding his Dnepr motorcycle. As soon as he gets near, they kick his wheels, causing the motorcycle to fall over. The boys trapped him in the woods before he was killed. The murderers' previous murder scene was two teenage boys in Pidhorodne, named Andrei Sidyuk and Vadim Lyakhov, who were brutally attacked while they were fishing. Vadim managed to escape by hiding in the woods. The maniacs then killed Sergei.

The video starts with two males in the woods, one of whom is trapped under what seems to be debris. Abruptly, the teenage boy standing over the adult victim attacks him with a hammer concealed in a plastic bag, effectively turning the victim's face into a bloody pulp. After several seconds of the victim gurgling his own blood and close-ups of his severely damaged face, a screwdriver is skewered and twisted into his stomach by the cameraman, then into the dying man's left eye. The victim is finished off by two large arcing blows to the head with the hammer for the final time. The assailants then promptly run out of the woods and head nearby to their car, where they wash off the blood.<ref>https://www.gamespot.com/forums/offtopic-discussion-314159273/3-guys-1-hammerwhat-really-happened-26943557/</ref>

'''[After the screwdriver stabbing]'''

"What? With what?" the cameraman responds to the boy who stabs the victim

"What, he's still alive?" says the guy stabbing the victim

"He's still moving his arms after I ripped up his intestines," the cameraman muffles indistinctly.y

"He's having a fucked up day," says the stabbing guy after he'd stepped on his stomach.

'''[More muffled talk as he proceeds to stab him in the eyes with the screwdriver]'''

"Get over here fast. Kill him already."

"What?" says the stabber

"Kill him already."

"I already put the hammer back. He's already dead."

"I poked out his eyes, and he's still not dead," says the cameraman

"Get the knife," the cameraman continues.

'''Proceeds to bludgeon him, then interrupts by saying something indistinct'''

"More, more, " the cameraman tells the other guy to keep bludgeoning him to make sure he's dead.

"Hold on, hold on."

'''They start walking back to the car'''

More muffled talk from the blond killer

"Wash your hands," the cameraman says, and tells him to spray a cleaning chemical on the hamme.r

"I'll hold it."

'''Muffled talk from the guy washing the hammer'''

'''More muffled talk from the guy washing his face and walking back from his car'''

"I stuck the screwdriver in his brain," says the cameraman

''Muffled talk from the guy washing his hands''

"I got him in the nose from his eye," or something along those lines.

"I don't understand how he was alive? I felt his brain," says the cameraman

"I was holding the screwdriver like this, '''muffled/don't understand'''."

Before the video ends, the blond guy says, "Alright, let's get a picture."}}

On July 31st, 2013, a ListVerse writer named Mike Floorwalker wrote an article titled "10 Videos Of Violence And Insanity", where "3 Guys 1 Hammer" is ranked second<ref>https://listverse.com/2013/07/31/10-dramatic-and-disturbing-videos-of-insanity/</ref>. Floorwalker advised against watching the video due to its disturbing nature, despite the list containing other videos that involve murder.

It has also been featured on Runthegauntlet.org, as its 20th level. Runthegauntlet.org is a site featuring a variety of other graphic videos. A shock site that gets progressively gorier as the user chooses is the first link to appear when searched on Google. Although the video in Run the Gauntlet is watermarked to the gore news site, BestGore. The victim in this video was identified as Sergei Yatzenko, a 48-year-old male who had recently been forced into retirement due to a cancerous tumor in his throat.

== Reaction Videos ==
Much like several other shock videos, blind reactions to 3 Guys 1 Hammer were ubiquitous. Reactions were most popular at the height of the film in 2009, but [[reaction videos]] are still being made as of 2016. For example, on January 24th, 2009, a YouTuber, wetwetmutoni, published a reaction video that received more than 692,000 views in less than 13 years. Reaction videos continued throughout the next decade. On March 7th, 2016, a YouTuber MILLZ published a reaction that received more than 200,000 views in less than six days

'''sponge.mp4''' was a bait-and-switch [[shock video]] originally found on the social networking service [[wikipedia:LinkedIn|LinkedIn]] in 2018. The video was later on removed, but was archived by the user [[User:TWMO|TWMO]]. The archive of the video is offline as of 2023.

The video begins with a scene from the episode ''Party Pooper Pants'' from ''[[wikipedia:SpongeBob Squarepants|SpongeBob Squarepants]]'', where SpongeBob uses his vacuum to suck Sandal's mouth in order to get the piece of the cake that was consumed by him. After that, SpongeBob switches the vacuum to blow mode, in which he releases the piece of cake and a plate of bacon and eggs, which is revealed to be the fish's breakfast. After SpongeBob raises both of his arms and screams "Could I have everyone's attention please?" with an angry expression, the clip cuts to a video of a cameraman shooting an unidentified person's head repeatedly, and fleeing after he runs out of ammo.

In spite of the description of the video already giving away the screamer, it proceeds to try anyways to trick the viewer into watching by presenting a montage of cute animals. It starts off with pink text on a green background reading: "Extremely Cute Animals - Some of the cutest animals in the world".

The video then shows the animal clips, consisting of different animals such as a rabbits, cats, hamsters, etc. All of which have a ''WinAVI Video Converter'' watermark over the center. However, after the last clip, a picture of a goblin mask suddenly appears with a very shrill female scream.

'''Usagi Puzzle''' (うさぎパズル, '''''Usagi pazuru''''') is a Japanese ActionScript game made by Hothukurou. The game is considered to be "a non-scary horror game" by the creator himself. The game, like [[Lomando.com]], has, in fact, a story and somewhat similar gameplay.

The actual game is just a simple drag-and-shoot game. Their objective is to control a rabbit with the mouse to bounce the balls into the holes. However, the upper section of the second page of the tutorial warns the user not to click on a button that appears randomly and to continue the game normally. On the bottom section of the same page is a description of [[wikipedia:MDMA|MDMA]], a psychoactive drug, and the case that it was used to cure [[wikipedia:Posttraumatic stress disorder|PTSD]] in America, which sets the foreshadow of the underlying story.

The game has 15 stages that increase difficulty each time they clear. It has several endings and 4 routes, which will be listed below.

== All Endings ==
=== Ending 1 — Game Clear ===
[[File:20180523150323.jpg|thumb|190px|"Congratulations for clearing! Rest your body and your mind and let's have a healthy life!"]]
You have beaten all 15 levels, and that means that you also didn't click on the button mentioned. After completing all the levels, the game congratulates and asks the user to relax after having fun, besides wishing them a positive life.
However, the text "身体も心もすっくりやすめて" ('''Rest your body and mind...''') can be misread as "くすりやめて" ('''Stop taking drugs.'''), giving the first point to the story of the game.

=== Ending 2 — Welcoming ===
[[File:20180523155903.jpg|thumb|left|180px|The park.]]
This ending is called "お迎え" (''omukae''), a short version for "お迎え現象" (''omukae genshou'') which means "Psychopomp". Other meanings are: "welcoming" and also "approach of death".

By clicking on the "Don't click here!" button, the game gets distorted and the background is changed to a static screen, a disturbing noise also starts playing. However, if the player stands still for a few minutes, something changes. The user is redirected to the start menu of the game and suddenly the rabbit gets a realistic mouth and eye, plus a few black dots around.

The game resumes very differently than it was before, and now an image of a park appears. It knows that the user chooses two options: "右を向く" ('''Turn Right''') and "左を向く" ('''Turn Left'''). When turning right, a rabbit appears and runs toward the screen with a loud sound.

The game-over screen is "夢の中でお迎えがきた。よかった。"('''Death has come in my dreams. I'm so glad.''').

=== Ending 3 — Cursed ===
[[File:20180523160015.jpg|thumb|180px|The easter egg.]]
In stage 10, there's an easter egg. When the user tries to take the block to the right, it slowly goes out of the way until it finally opens. When the user moves the rabbit to the lower left, it will get stuck, and the only thing they can do is click the "Don't click here!" button. After clicking, a sentence reading "呪われたすぐに閉じろ" ('''Close immediately after being cursed.''') appears. After a few seconds, the screen will be filled with a flood of "すぐにけせ" ('''Disappear''') and loud noise. There is nothing more than this and it will be redirected to Hothukurou's website.

=== True End — Akazu no Hako ===
[[File:Akazu_no_hako.png|thumb|"The Bizzare Urban Legend, Akazu no Hako"]]
This ending is unlocked when the player clicks the "Don't click here!" button and throws the ball inside the hole after it. The screen will get static for a moment until it reveals an image of an air vent and then the real storyline begins.

The narrator wakes up from the dream he had and notices he is trapped in a one-man cell after he had gone crazy by a certain urban legend. The truth is, the dream he had was the entire Usagi Puzzle game all along. Of the fear of being found by a certain ''something'', he screams out loud and it makes the nurses at the nurse station worried. They start discussing the urban legend that the narrator so believes until he screams again. After that, a box comes out from the air vent in his cell, and the whole webpage background begins to flash red. The user has to click on the box to be redirected to the main story, which reveals to be '''Akazu no Hako'''.

I woke up from the sweet dream I had. Now, I can't move my body to escape from this painful reality.

And it's all because I'm tied up to a bed. I'm scared. I have to get out of here as soon as possible.

The echoing sound of the ropes squeaking is scary. I'm scared. At this rate, that ''thing'' will come.

I screamed out of fear. My voice echoes in the corridor illuminated by the moon.

The scream reached the end of the hallway to the locked nurse station.

"...That patient, isn't he noisy again?"

"Just when he got unconscious by the drug..."

"Hasn't he been getting better nowadays? He just had taken a dose, right?"

"His screams are getting louder by the day though."

"Every time he says "Don't come here! Don't come here!" he makes other patients scared too..."

"Perhaps that urban legend is really true."

"Everyone who goes to that place dies though..."

"People who go to places like that from the urban legend were always crazy. Also, that urban legend is obviously a lie."

"Is that so?"

"Ugh, I can hear his voice again."

"Don't come here!"

"Don't come here!"

=== Nomura Arc ===
Nomura is in the '''Nighmare Forest''' (悪夢の森) being chased by a woman and to leave the place he needs to open the box by completing the puzzle "Daughter in a Box". If the player can't put the "Daughter" piece out of the box in time, a screamer of a bluish woman smiling with distorted eyes pops up with a loud sound. As soon as the player manages to remove the "Daughter" piece, Nomura opens the box and is saved from death.

Nomura wakes up desperately, realizing that everything that happened at the '''Nightmare Forest''' was just a dream. He begins to question everything that happened, to the point of throwing up as he remembers what was inside that box. Nomura reveals that he only woke up in the Nightmare Forest after returning home and having looked at a lost box in the middle of his path, and just by looking at it he lost consciousness.

Nomura tries to forget what happened and also tries to continue normally his day. However, he realizes that in his bedroom there was, surprisingly, that woman who was chasing him in the '''Nightmare Forest'''. The same screamer of the bluish woman pops up, and Nomura is killed.

The game over message is "1日目:野村は謎を解いたが、殺された。（クリア！）" ('''First day: Nomura solved the mystery but was killed. (Stage Clear!)''').

=== Kobayashi Arc ===
Same as Nomura Arc and so on, the player needs to take the "Daughter" piece out of the box. If the player can't remove the piece in time, the same bluish woman screamer appears. But if the player succeeds, Kobayashi opens the box and escapes death.

Kobayashi wakes up, realizing that the dream he had was similar to a certain urban legend. Looking at his desk, he notices that the box was no longer in his room, making him sigh in relief. Kobayashi begins to wonder about what happened at the '''Nightmare Forest''', but went into denial after overthinking. He began to believe that everything that happened was just a dream, and even though Nomura wasn't murdered by the woman, but by a serial killer. When he left his house, it was already morning. He walked to college and found Ikeda on the way. As Kobayashi approached her, he noticed that it wasn't Ikeda, but the woman in black clothes. Kobayashi becomes self-aware that he still didn't wake up from the dream and is killed by the woman.

The game over message is "2日目:小林は謎を解いたが、殺された。（クリア！）" ('''Second day: Kobayashi solved the mystery but was killed. (Stage Clear!)''').

I had a terrible dream.

I was being chased by a woman with a kitchen knife. It was exactly like that urban legend.

I quickly checked my desk, just to see that the box disappeared.

I sighed in relief. Still, my head just won't stop thinking about what happened.

The hell was that dream anyways?

Inside that box was.... No, I don't want to remember it.

What if... That woman was actually chasing for...

.....Ugh, I shouldn't take conclusions like that.

It was just a dream.

A dream that showed all my fears.

That's right. Nomura got stabbed by a weirdo and died.

Urban legends... Curses... The hell to those ideas. I've had enough of that damn dream.

When I left the entrance, the sun was rising.

Before I knew it, it was already morning.

I always forgot about important things, and as you can see, I'm kind of an airhead. Anyways, I adjusted my clothes and then I walked on my way to college.

In a short while, I noticed that Ikeda was walking in front of me.

'''"Hey, Ikeda!"'''

I called her out. As I approached, Ikeda turned around.

That was not Ikeda.

I see.

I still didn't...

...wake up from that dream.

'''[SCREAMER]'''

=== Ikeda Arc ===
After the player takes the "Daughter" piece out of the box, Ikeda escapes the Nightmare Forest. She wakes up in her bedroom, noticing that the box is nowhere to be seen, just like in Kobayashi's case. Ikeda starts crying for feeling guilty after opening the box, begging for mercy. Suddenly, the sound of her door opening is heard, making Ikeda confuse. When she turns around, Ikeda finally realizes that no matter what she does, that woman will never forgive her and her friends. She is then killed by the woman.

The game over message is "3日目:池田は謎を解いたが、殺された。（クリア！）" ('''Third day: Ikeda solved the mystery but was killed. (Stage Clear!)''').

Somewhat I can understand the reason why that woman was chasing me.

'''"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry......"'''

Tears are falling from my eyes and my body doesn't stop shaking.

At that time, a noise came behind me.

I understand now.

That woman will never forgive us no matter what.

=== Watanabe Arc ===
Watanabe wakes up in the '''Nightmare Forest''' and he needs to escape as soon as possible. However, there are two endings for his arc, which both will depend on the player's choices.

When the player opens the box, Watanabe wakes up in his room. He notices that the woman in black clothes is in his room, approaching slowly. Watanabe is then killed by the woman. After this, when the user tries to play the game again after seeing the "game over" screen, a message saying '''"The truth is under the page"''' (真実はページ下) appears. Scrolling the page down, there will be a message saying '''"Don't escape"''' (逃ゲルナ) and '''"Don't open it"''' (開ケルナ). However, if the player scrolls the page too much, the bluish woman screamer appears with a loud noise. The page then reloads.

The good ending: If the player must return the box to the woman, Watanabe woke up from the nightmare which is a real life. The creepy atmosphere has already gone. His family came to his room cause he had a nightmare. He burst out crying while he sees them. A few months later, the news has stopped reporting about the incident. Nobody cares about it recently, Watanabe been exploring places he had been before. The mysterious box that appears in his dream inside his room. He think There is a hidden truth for her in the box, and all he need to never reveal the truth. They apologized of stealing the box and returning it. Solved the mystery means not to solve the box. Everyone had a secret to hide and had a past that they didn't want to remember and would always be leave it alone.

== The day before the nightmare ==
[[File:TheDayBeforeTheNightmare.png|thumb|Akumu No Zenjitsu, with all the stories unlocked.]]
'''The day before the nightmare''' (悪夢の前日謹, ''Akumu no Zenjitsu'') is a part of the storyline from Akazu no Hako. As the title itself says, it's a series of events that happens before the 4 protagonists enter their nightmares, so it's recommended to read them before playing their arcs.

Each of the stories can be unlocked after clearing the Days (Except in Nomura Arc which is automatically unlocked). Bellow, there is a list of every story ''before the nightmares''.

=== Ghost Story (Nomura Arc) ===
Ghost Story is an explanation of the Urban Legend that is spreading around Japan, the Akazu no Hako. The legend says that someone found a strange wooden box with a letter in unreadable scattered Japanese characters in an abandoned small city, specifically, in an abandoned apartment in Room 103. And the ''tansu'' (old Japanese drawer) was tied tightly with a rope so the drawer couldn't be opened. But when the rope is cut and the drawer is opened, a sheet of paper written "Do not open" (開ケルナ) is included.

When the person destroyed the paper and closed the drawer because he was feeling a strange sense of danger, he could hear noises inside the object and reopened it again in a naive curiosity, and a box suddenly appeared. After touching it, his destiny was sealed, and from now on, a woman would come in his dreams to kill him.

Even when the truth lies inside this box, as long as the user doesn't solve the mystery from the box, they won't wake up from their dreams. And, they absolutely must not open the box.

=== Curiosity (Kobayashi Arc) ===
When the person opens the door, he actually found these pages inside and he seemed to be noticed there was a box in there that causing him goosebumps. He don't usually believe in ghost stories, but his body was shivering because of the aura of the box, the atmosphere of the apartment and the darkness. He thinks that the urban legend is right that the Woman in the black dress will kill them. They look around a while, but nothing happens. They understood the silence and left the apartment quietly. He talks about that Nomura was playing with the box and then he got scared and took the box from him. There are wooden pieces on the lid of the box, and they are lined up neatly. Each piece has words such as "Daughter", " Father", "Mother" and so on. Some of these parts are faded that looks like "Hakonezaiku" (Box puzzle/Moving block puzzle). If they move the pieces correctly, they'll solved it. If the rumor is right, they can survive if they solve this puzzle. A black dressed woman never followed them. He thinks that the box might be broken. So he gave the box back to Nomura. Their second time exploring an urban legend has ended. He then saw the box like Nomura had. He had lost consciousness when he saw the box.

=== Really Upset (Ikeda Arc) ===
The two remaining victims think there are lots of coincidence. They talikng about how they were chased by the women while playing the box if the rumor is true. Ikeda got home after explained qbout the incident, she noticed that the box was also in her room.

=== Dead End (Watanabe Arc) ===
Watanabe is left, thinking that everyone is dead. The police think that Watanabe is a person of interest. But everything bad happends, there is even no proof. The police stated that there may have been another person watching them and their friends entered the apartment who is also targeting them all. According to the police, they couldn't find the apartment that they went to. According to the news, each of the three of them were dead while they're sleeping. Watanabe then explains about the box, it was made in meiji era, the woman kept killing everyone to hide her secret and maybe there also a secret truth about the box. After watanabe explaining about the box, the box will appears in the corner of his room.

'''The Maze Craze!!''' is a [[screamer]] [[game]] created by Flowgo in 2005. It is based on [[The Maze]] by [[Jeremy Winterrowd]].

The [[game]] begins with the main menu, featuring blue text on the top left that prompts, "Click here to start!". Above the game area, there is green text displaying the word "Rules" with an upward arrow, informing the player that they have been challenged to navigate through the maze. There is a square containing text at the bottom which explains the challenge in order to receive a "surprise".

Once the gameplay begins, players guide the blue dot through the maze set against a field background with animated mole, sheep, flying hamster, and a dancing bunny. Upon successfully reaching the maze's finish, an image of a hissing cat suddenly appears, accompanied by a female scream. The game concludes with a background depicting a hill with moles, white text appears stating "Awwh... Did I scare you?". A text box at the bottom appears, which says "Why not click here to pull this prank on a pal?!".

While navigating through the maze, touching the flying hamster displays the message, "Whoops! You ran into the furry flying Hamster of Death! You have to start over! OH NOES!!!" and bumping into the moving sheep displays the message, "You touched the sheep! Ha ha!!! Start Over!!". In both cases, the player is forced to start over. Additionally, attempting to take the lower route near the beginning of the maze results in the message "What are you doing trying to take the easy way out?!!", forcing the player to restart. Touching the walls also results in a restart of the game, as expected.

'''Sonic Fear''' was a fan-made Spanish horror game series based on [[wikipedia:Sonic R|Sonic R]] and [[creepypasta]] [[Sonic.exe]]. Created by [https://www.youtube.com/yesmen10 Yesmen10] from 2014 to July 4th, 2020, the series focuses on Tails Doll and Sonic.exe as the main antagonists. The most popular [[reaction video]] of ''Sonic Fear'' reached 13 million views, which makes it the most viewed [[.exe]] video.<ref>youtube.com/watch?v=fwjT34GcYNs</ref>
==Sonic Fear: Tails Doll El Assesino / Sonic Fear: Tails Doll the Murderer==
The player controls Sonic, navigating obstacle-filled environments while avoiding spikes and collecting rings to survive. Core mechanics involve avoiding spikes and evading the antagonist [[wikipedia:Tails Doll|Tails Doll]], which appears periodically. Three scripted encounters occur: first encounter drains Sonic’s rings while approaching slowly, second being a sudden flashing screen which disrupts gameplay, and the final eventually becomes a screamer that transitions Sonic to a distorted world filled with flickering static, corpses of franchise characters (e.g., Chao, [[wikipedia:Big the Cat|Big the Cat]]), and hanging animal bodies. In an outdoor zone, Tails Doll teleports Sonic into a void where weakening gravity lifts him into overhead spikes, killing him, and a screamer appears. A cutscene depicts Sonic’s dismembered burial. Tails Doll resurrects him as [[Sonic.exe]], now under its control.

Players switch to Tails, exploring a warped [[wikipedia:Green Hill Zone|Green Hill Zone]] with two paths: Left path triggers an unavoidable Tails Doll screamer. The right path advances of what's more in the story. Tails encounters a motionless Sonic (implied to be Sonic.exe) that disintegrates on contact. Clones appear with text: “This is not Sonic.exe” and “This is Sonic Fear”, before Tails is impaled by spikes. A “The End” screen appears but is interrupted by looping static and Sonic.exe’s laughter. Each cycle brings Sonic.exe closer until a final [[screamer]] (featuring MY5TCrimson’s scream from the original [[Sonic.exe]] fangame) resets the game to a “Continue” screen.

After Tails’ death, Knuckles becomes playable. Limited to climbing walls (via the up arrow key), he navigates a minimally altered Scrap Brain Zone. Static images of Tails Doll and Sonic.exe appear until Knuckles reaches a dead end. Upon returning, he finds empty screens before Tails Doll decapitates him. With all characters dead, Tails Doll becomes playable. Using left/right arrows, it kills on contact. A cutscene shows Tails Doll chasing [[wikipedia:Cream the Rabbit|Cream the Rabbit]] and her Chao, culminating in a screamer. Shortly after, it abruptly cuts to a scene where Tails Doll frees Sonic from illusions, extracting Sonic.exe from his mind. Sonic battles Sonic.exe in a boss fight before escaping with Tails. Turns out, the game reveals both antagonists as mere apparitions.
==Sequels==
===Sonic Fear 2: Metal Sonic Fuera Del Control / Metal Sonic Out of Control===
In Sonic Fear 2, Players engage in a mix of survival horror and high-speed platforming, beginning with a scripted rail-shooter prologue where Sonic evades debris during the Tornado’s crash. The core gameplay unfolds in a destabilizing illusion world, blending stealth mechanics (avoiding patrolling clones of Sonic.exe and Tails Doll) with reflex-driven platforming over spike pits and blinding light orbs. The game even has its own boss fights which emphasize pattern recognition: the [https://sonic.fandom.com/wiki/Hidden_Palace_Zone_(Sonic_the_Hedgehog_2) Hidden Palace Zone] pits players against Sonic.exe in a multi-phase battle involving clone evasion and screen-falling spike traps, rewarding the Green Chaos Emerald to unlock Stardust Speedway. Here, a [[wikipedia:Sonic Heroes|Sonic Heroes]]-inspired showdown against Metal Overlord transitions between 3D rail segments (dodging lasers) and quick-time finishers. Once Metal Sonic is near the brink of destruction, Sonic.exe and Tails Doll teleport Metal Sonic away and prepare to repair him and get their revenge.

===Sonic Fear 3: El Apocalipsis / The Apocalypse ===
The third and final game begins with a doomed prologue rail-shooter segment, forcing players to fail as [https://sonic.fandom.com/wiki/Eggrobo Eggrobo] and [https://sonic.fandom.com/wiki/Metal_Knuckles Metal Knuckles] overwhelm Sonic, scripting the world’s conquest. Gameplay revolves around rescuing allies via “Recruitment by Rescue” missions: each boss (e.g., zombified Chaos 0) follows a three-phase “Sequential Boss” structure—pattern-based combat, chase sequences through crumbling terrain, and scale-shifted battles against giant forms. Timed “Just in Time” rescues unlock playable characters, with failure altering story outcomes. The final chapter, “A Miracle”, combines an ambush chase (dodging Tails Doll’s insta-kill strikes) with a Sonic Heroes-style trio battle: players swap between Super Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles to target weak points on Tails Doll’s winged form, countered mid-fight by a power-stripping mechanic forcing a light-speed [https://sonic.fandom.com/wiki/Super_Sonic Super Sonic] form finale. Post-game unlocks dissect Tails Doll’s origins via logs and scrapped boss concepts.

'''Schnuffel Bunny Sees Demon Caught on Tape! NEW!''' Is a [[screamer]] video, uploaded to [[YouTube]] by the user ''couchpotatotheatre'' on July 10, 2012.

The video begins by showing a plush toy of The [[wikipedia:Schnuffel|Schnuffel Bunny]] sitting on a couch in a room that includes a printer and a computer in the background. As ominous music grows louder in the background, a man wearing a football mask with a cartoonish face on it suddenly appears on the screen and exclaims, "HEY! WHAT'S HAPPENING?!" in a comical voice. He then laughs maniacally and screams at the same time while shaking his head. Subsequently, he disappears from the screen, and The Schnuffel Bunny's ears perk up as a beeping sound plays in the background, with the laughter continuing. As the laughter fades, the bunny's ears droop, accompanied by a farting sound.

'''Scary Optical Illusion''' is a [[screamer]] video originally uploaded to [[YouTube]] by ''ranikade1439'' sometime in 2007. It was deleted due to the creator's account being terminated for unknown reasons, however, it was eventually reuploaded by ''The YouTube Archivist'' on March 18th, 2018.

The video begins with a message instructing the viewer to focus on images to win a free program called "[[Wikipedia:GameMaker|GAMEMAKER]] 6.0", which is a game development engine created by [[Wikipedia:Mark Overmars|Mark Overmars]]. It also states that the viewer must start over if they fail and to "use sound effects". Afterwards, images of [[Wikipedia:Care Bears|''Care Bears'']], ''[[wikipedia:SpongeBob_SquarePants|SpongeBob SquarePants]]'', and [https://www.amazon.com/Bunnys-Rainbow-Day-Monica-Wellington/dp/0525460470 ''Bunny's Rainbow Day''] start to zoom into the screen while a looping, chorused sound effect of someone making an "aaaa" sound plays in the background. After zooming into the image of ''Bunny's Rainbow Day'', as mentioned before, the video abruptly displays a picture of [[Samara Morgan]] from ''[[wikipedia:The Ring (2002 film)|The Ring]]'', accompanied by a loud, piercing scream and glitch sound effects. The song "[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLP0xP2M4S8 Becoming]" by ''[[Wikipedia:Pantera|Pantera]]'' begins playing for the remainder of the video.

Shortly after, some text behind a red background appears, reading "you failed" and the same screamer image remains on screen. A while later, some text appears on the screen saying "Your still watching this?"[sic] and another one prompting viewers to visit the creator's [[Wikipedia:MySpace|MySpace]] page. As the video progresses, the image displays clockwise, then fades to a counterclockwise rotation. Eventually, it cuts to an upside-down version of the image with a posterize effect applied to it, slowly zooming in before abruptly fading to white at the very end.

}}
'''Sally.exe''' is a [[creepypasta]] .exe game created by the game developer MY5TCrimson, and it is a sequel to ''[[Sonic.exe]]''. The game opens with a scene from an episode of the ''[[wikipedia:Sonic_the_Hedgehog_(TV_series)|Sonic SatAM]]'' series where Sonic and Sally are about to make a kiss, but the scene stops with a loud static sound as the [[wikipedia:Blue_screen_of_death|BSOD]] screen appears, and static appears for a split second and cuts to black. The Sega logo appears on a black background but with a low-pitched voice and slow-motion sound. Then, the first message to the game, asks the player to up for round 2. The game fades into a disturbing Green Hill background, where Knuckles.exe and Tails.exe are seen in the logo, and Amy Rose appears in the logo, and the game suddenly turns static when the player presses the enter key.

The message says that Kyle didn't want to play with him, but he could play with the player's actual name. The game suddenly turns black with the same slow-motion SEGA sound playing.

=== Act 1 ===
The player now plays as Amy Rose, as she and normal Sonic are seen jumping into a big gray ring, and Amy goes into it too, which sends them into a happy-rolling place with goals, but around. However, when Amy touches the "goal", the game cuts to a loud static with flashing pictures of Sonic.exe appearing rapidly and is accompanied by a horrifying scream.

=== Act 2 ===
The player now plays as Cream The Rabbit, the player is in a Kind of fair (Carnival Pursuit) world. The player jumps to a powerup bottom that allows them to go fast, and when the player touches the powerup, the player begins to go way too fast, as the player ends up striking into a wall of spikes, killing Cream The Rabbit instantly. The background suddenly becomes distorted and turns static into a black screen again, with the same slow-motion Sega sound playing.

=== Act 9 ===
The player now plays as Sally. The whole place is nothing but Sonic.exe and the other characters floating in the air on a red background. The screen slows and shrinks on Sally, and as the screen closes on her, a loud blood-splatting sound plays, with a red bloody text that says "Sonic, my love" written in a fancy font appearing on a black background, alongside a few drops of blood from the text. The static suddenly pops up and transitions to the scene where it shows Sonic beginning to kiss Sally, but as soon as he kisses her, the scene becomes red-tinted as Sonic.exe's eyes pop up for a split second and quickly cuts to a horrifying image of Sally's face without her eyes and with a smile, accompanied by a loud demonic scream, and static appears on the background once again. The game ends with a background (which was taken from the [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VckqO00AlKM&t=55 Shores of Hell end screen] from ''[[wikipedia:The Ultimate Doom|The Ultimate Doom]]'') and Sally.exe can be seen faded with the "Game Over?" text on the left, with the developer's name (MY5TCrimson) on the bottom right corner of the screen, and is accompanied with the US version of the Game Over music from ''[[wikipedia:Sonic_CD|Sonic CD]]'' playing in reverse.

==Trivia==
*Sally.exe was inspired by Chinelin's deleted video titled "[Creepypasta] SONIC." However, the creator of Sally.exe mentioned that it was based on a blatant rip-off creepypasta from Chinelin's work and gave proper credit to Chinelin for this inspiration.

'''Racial Slur Spotted In Bunny Maloney!''' is a [[screamer]] video created by [[User:Intel586|Intel586]] and first released on December 3rd, 2025.

The video begins on a black background with the narrator explaining that a watcher of the episode ''Raucous Caucus'' from the 2009 animated comedy series ''[[wikipedia:Bunny Maloney|Bunny Maloney]]'' had discovered an instance of Bunny uttering the N-word while singing in front of Candy. During this, the instumental "All This" by [[wikipedia:Kevin Macleod|Kevin Macleod]] plays in the background. It then invites the viewer to increase the volume of its speakers, claiming that this would help with properly hearing the sound. The video is a parody of older subliminal message screamers on [[YouTube]].

This introduction then switches to a scene where the aforementioned moment occurs, beginning with Candy explaining to Bunny, "When the hustle and bustle of modern life gets to you, there's a really great way to relieve stress: Take it out on your partner." Bunny then resumes his singing, but just as he pronounces the syllable "ni-" (which is actually edited over), a rapidly flashing image of [[Smile.jeff]] pops up while emitting an extremely loud flurry of screams, akin to [[Anne.jpg]]. After two seconds, the video cuts back to black, with a brief drumroll sound effect playing before the narrator concludes the video by saying, "And that was Bunny Maloney saying the N-word. Thank you for watching."

'''Pong.EXE''' is a [[screamer]] [[game]] that draws inspiration from the classic 1970s video game [[wikipedia:Pong|''Pong'']], created by RobBoberty in 2015.

In this game, players compete against a computer-controlled paddle on the right side of the screen. The objective is to score 10 points before the computer wins. Players can control the paddle using the arrow keys or a cursor that moves the paddle automatically in the direction of the cursor.
==Gameplay==
[[File:Ping Pong baby.png|thumb|right|300px|Gameplay of ''Pong.exe'']]
As players progress through the game, each time they score a goal, something strange happens in the background:

*2 points: Strange yellow dots flash in the background. A stretched-up image of the monster from the [[creepypasta]] Bad Dream flashes briefly, accompanied by a high-pitched screech.
*4 points: A creepy clown flashes briefly, accompanied by a maniacal laugh. The computer-controlled paddle palette becomes twice as large as normal.
*6 points: An edited image of a woman with black hair and a tape over her mouth that might induce trypophobia appears, accompanied by a distorted scream. The background and paddles turn red, and the ball becomes a skull.
*7 points: A red-filtered image of an eye with a mouth edited in as the pupil appears. The screen starts shaking, making it harder to play.
*9 points: A picture of a bloody, severed mouth appears. Nothing else happens, but the computer-controlled paddle can now predict where the ball is going.
===Screamer climax===
When players score 10 points, a flurry of screamer faces appears with static in between each one. They include:

* An edited image of a woman with black hair, greenish skin, and black eyes screaming.
* A fanart of a wide-mouthed [[wikipedia:Donald Duck|Donald Duck]] with black eyes by Luvisi.
* An [[wikipedia:Easter_Bunny|Easter Bunny]] costume with a horrifying face and dirty fangs.
* A close-up of a spider.
* A faceswap image of a person and a kitten.
* The thumbnail of Dane Boe's Scarier Faces video.
* A child photoshopped to have only one large cyclopean eye and a sharp-toothed mouth in a red background.
* An alien-looking young girl with light-blue skin and cyan pigtails.
* An edited image of [[wikipedia:Santa_Claus|Santa Claus]] with a rabbit's head and a menacing face abducting a crying baby.
* The demon woman from ''[[wikipedia:Dead_Birds_(2004_film)|Dead Birds]]''.
* A clown with scratches on its face, blue eyes, and a red-and-blue nose.
* Large Marge.

An echoing scream accompanies these images as the game cuts to a black screen, followed by the credits.
==Kid mode==
There's also a "Kid Mode" difficulty within the game. In this version, all screamer faces are replaced with cats (including [[wikipedia:Nyan_Cat|Nyan Cat]]), and the following happens:

*2 points: Purring can be heard in the background.
*4 points: The purring gets louder.
*6 points: The screen starts to shake
*8 points: The screen starts to shake harder.

When players score 10 points in this mode, a slideshow of cats is shown, accompanied by various identical meows.

'''Pink Rabbit''' (ももいろうさぎ) is a [[screamer]] Vocaloid [[video]] that was produced by HealingP, featuring [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kagamine_Rin/Len Kagamine Len] on Dec 7, 2010.

The video starts with an image of a real-life rabbit in its natural state. However, it undergoes a transition into a peculiar, eerie filter while a haunting song about a murderous rabbit mascot plays in the background. The scene then shifts to a white background with pink text displayed as "ももいろうさぎ" (The pink rabbit). The video proceeds with a surreal, drawn image of a pink rabbit.

Subsequently, a disturbing sequence appears, featuring a creepy, blood-stained pink rabbit with a disturbingly twisted and inverted color filter. Red, bloody text overlays the screen as the music takes on a distorted and eerie tone. The video then returns to its regular state for a brief moment before briefly flipping the screen upside down.

The unsettling imagery returns with intermittent flips in and out, accompanied by distorted music and disturbing flashes of various unsettling images: a mangled corpse, a creepy-looking baby doll, a black-and-white portrait of a man, and a two-headed creature with distorted limbs. The video then transitions to a black-and-white filtered upside-down image.

It once again returns to a normal presentation, with the screen zooming in on the pink rabbit. Unexpectedly, the rabbit's image takes on a sinister smile, with blood on its face, accompanied by a shrill shriek before the video concludes.

The video is low quality looped footage of part of the opening sequence to the Japanese manga and a black and white anime series [[Wikipedia:The Amazing 3|The Amazing 3]], with Bokko the bunny strutting before posing a couple of times, accompanied by a distorted version of the song [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__tm_j8FPl0 Charmaine] by [[Wikipedia:Mantovani|Mantovani]]. However, at the 2:48 mark, the video then cuts to fetuses spinning their heads around from the YouTube video username:666. The rest of the video fades to a black screen, and the laugh is heard.

{{Offended}}
Alternatively, some articles contain a template at the top of the page titled "FED", which looks like this:
{{FED}}
In 2012, a template was added to articles relating to Islam titled "OffendedMuslims", which links to a page titled [[Reporting Un-Islamic Content]]:
{{Un-Islamic}}
In June 2022, a template was added to the Manchild article titled "OffendedKids", which links to the Offended page:
{{OffendedKids}}
In April 2024, a template was added to articles relating to Judaism titled “Jewoffended”, which links to the Offended page:
{{Jewoffended}}

'''NEW WINDOWS NEPTUNE LEAKED BUILD!''' is a bait and switch [[screamer]] video created by [[User:AVRPlays|AVRPlays]] on January 11th, 2025. The video is intended to trick the viewer into thinking that a new build of [[Wikipedia:Windows Neptune|Windows Neptune]] has been found.

The video starts up with text reading: "There's a new Microsoft Neptune leaked build! Let's explore." and then shows the uploader exploring the 'leaked build' while also opening a few files. The uploader also starts up [[Wikipedia:Internet Explorer|Internet Explorer]] and refreshes the page a few times. After the uploader finishes exploring, it cuts to text reading: "Isn't this new build great...?", but right when the text disappears, Nightmare Bonnie's jumpscare from [[Wikipedia:Five Nights at Freddy's 4|''Five Nights at Freddy's 4'']] appears along with a scream. The video then cuts to text reading: "GOTCHA! Now go change your pants and get back to work!".

'''The Mysterious House''' is an [[animation]] created by Martin Walls on November 1, 2020. It is a 13-minute animation set on Halloween, featuring characters from ''The Walten Files'' in a non-canon setting.

The episode is consistently scary and disturbing all the way through. However, it does have what can be considered a screamer at around 11:30 where Pumpkin Rabbit rips off his mask revealing a black, rotting, and distorted face.

Luna Game is a series of downloadable games created and posted by Ceremi to "[https://www.equestriadaily.com/ Equestria Daily]" on April 3rd, 2011. From the name of the game to the sprites used, the game is based on the animated television series [[wikipedia:My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic|My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic]] (also known as G4 MLP:FiM). While the game looks simple and easy to understand, Luna Game spawned a series of games and even fan-made games, with the last official installment being Luna Game End on February 19th, 2012. Yet, a common aspect of all the games is that the titular main protagonist, [https://mlp.fandom.com/wiki/Princess_Luna Princess Luna], goes through a series of obstacles and platforms that end in a [[screamer]]. Said screamers are images depicting characters such as [https://mlp.fandom.com/wiki/Apple_Bloom Apple Bloom] with a screaming audio clip relayed as a result.

==Luna Game 1==
Released on April 3rd, 2011, the game starts with a custom-made Princess Luna model that slightly drops on a platform. The terrain remains the same, as it is brown with green triangles looking downwards to signify grass, accompanied by a navy blue background with white dots that are supposed to be stars. Meanwhile, an instrumental is played, which is referred to as "Upbeat Pony Beats" in the application, though it is actually "[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=atnSTtiWU5E Evil Enchantress]" by Eurobeat Brony. With no introduction or instructions, the player is tasked with only progressing to the right using the arrow keys to either move left, right, or jump.

However, little does the player know that, unlike in most scary games where it is a linear "Point A to Point B" type of goal that ends in a jumpscare, the screamers in Luna Game are triggered by a time limit (not shown in-game) that starts ticking the moment the application runs. To make it even more confusing, the time limit itself is randomly assigned, though it is usually between 10-20 seconds or, on rare occasions, 30 seconds. For example, one player may end up getting 10 seconds while another may end up with 16 seconds, making the screamers almost unpredictable, though most players see them around the point at which they are close to a T-shaped platform on the ground. With that said, it is also possible for the [[screamer]] to appear even if the player did not move Luna at all.

Once the timer hits zero, one of two edited images will be shown with two different soundtracks each (soundtracks are randomly assigned) to startle the player:
*An image of [https://mlp.fandom.com/wiki/Pinkie_Pie Pinkie Pie] smiling with black eyes and white pupils. Two different slow remixes of the "[https://mlp.fandom.com/wiki/Laughter_Song Laughter Song]" from the episode Friendship is Magic Part 2, will start playing.
*An image of Apple Bloom grimacing against a light that only shows her eyes, teeth, and part of her yellow skin, including her mane. The two soundtracks are remixes of the songs "[https://mlp.fandom.com/wiki/Evil_Enchantress_song Evil Enchantress]" from the episode Bridle Gossip and "[https://mlp.fandom.com/wiki/Hush_Now_Lullaby Hush Now Lullaby]" from the episode Stare Master.
===Aftermath===
The images shown will not close until the player does it manually, either through Task Manager or simply by powering off their device. Yet, that is not all, as the user's desktop is now filled with pictures that were either the jumpscares themselves, screenshots of where the player was by the time the jumpscare happened, and text files will appear by reading "The end is neigh." It should be noted that the images and screenshots may also be labeled with "The end is neigh." It is not recommended to save the game to their desktop, as doing so will make deleting the files generated a slow, annoying process.

==Luna Game 2==
Released on May 30th, 2011, this version has slightly improved graphics, with Luna herself being noticeably smaller compared to her previous model. As usual, the player must move to the right, except this time they are told by black text that they can run by holding the shift key. In terms of the layout of the game, it is less platform-based than the first game. The soundtrack is "[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3SY9t81sVsE Giggle at the Ghostie]" by Eurobeat Brony.

The further Luna moves to the right, the more cracked the ground beneath her appears up until a point at which an edited picture of Pinkie appears briefly with static noises. The world suddenly changes into a dark, red version of itself with what appears to be the sounds of a deep cave being played in the background. Additionally, the player's movement is now significantly reduced, and they are no longer able to sprint. After a couple of seconds of walking, the player will encounter a dead end as there is a wall preventing any progress to the right. Yet, there is one visible peculiarity at the end, a big chasm in the ground. With no other option left but to descend into the abyss, Luna slowly falls as the background fades to black, including herself, revealing a game over screen with fanart of Luna falling while some disturbing music plays (actually music from the episode Friendship is Magic Part 2) with bloody text saying "YOU DIED."

After a couple of seconds on the game over screen, the game will close by itself and, unlike the first game, will not add any files, screenshots, etc. to the PC.

==Luna Game 3==
Released on June 11th, 2011, it follows the same format with some slight differences. Aside from the forest setting and a catchy song that plays ("[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GlVwxSfaYhs At the Gala (Finale Mix)]" by Eurobeat Brony at a slightly increased speed), the terrain is much flatter with small hills to jump on and no floating platforms. After running to the right for a certain amount of time, the background music starts to slow down followed by static sounds, cutting off the music briefly before it changes to a slower, more sinister piece (actual music from the episode Sonic Rainboom), and every so often, audio clips of characters from the show speaking are faintly heard. Simultaneously, the world starts to darken as the player approaches a huge pit in the ground like the one in the second game.

However, there is no wall blocking the right side, allowing the player to jump over the hole and continue walking right. Unfortunately, the level loops and leads to the same pit again, forcing the player to fall into the gap. It should be mentioned that jumping across the first gap will cause a loud audio clip of the character [https://mlp.fandom.com/wiki/Fluttershy Fluttershy] screaming "COME OUT!!", taken from the episode The Best Night Ever, to play, though nothing happens every other time. Of interesting note, the player will notice that Luna disappears for a quick second after crossing a threshold at which the looping begins. This is a bug and only signifies that the player has been looped back to the same hole.

Whereas the second game was a slow descent with no ending jumpscare, this one ends abruptly with the same image of zalgofied Pinkie Pie used from the first game, with another loud audio clip of Fluttershy screaming "LOVE ME!!", also from The Best Night Ever. If the player were to fall down the hole for a second time after opening up the game again, the screen will flash with several images of zalgofied ponies, some of which are reused from the last two, with the same soundbite. When the screen changes back to normal, it cuts back to Luna's dismembered corpse when she opens her eyes, and this is followed by a dark close-up image of her mangled face with a loud shriek, closing the game after this.

==Luna Game 4==
[[File:Luna Game 4.png|thumb|A screenshot of Luna Game 4, where Luna has to walk through the glitchy blocks that form a path where she has to go.]]
Released on July 9th, 2011, it starts with Luna on a flat platform above the ground with a light blue sky in the background. As the player moves to the right with cheerful music playing (a slow version of "[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TaMTu9xrkUg Scootaloo's Theme]" by DH), the walking ends at a cliff where they must fall, resulting in a squish sound effect and an abrupt cut to black to signal Luna's presumed death. The black screen will then have some text above a blue dot that reads "You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you...", in a reference to the [[creepypasta]] [[BEN Drowned]], followed by the game faking closing for a few moments before it returns with the text "It didn't have to turn out like this...", "You didn't have to die...", and then the final text has blood on the screen which reads "BUT NOW YOU'RE IN MY WORLD." accompanied by a loud roar. After the threatening message, Luna is seen being thrown down from the sky and into a bloody world.

At that point, the game is now more reminiscent of the first game, with the layout being platform-based. However, there is a catch: the player must run through the obstacles quickly before the darkness from the left side engulfs them. Yet, this is impossible to do as the player will reach a point at which they must perform a jump that is intentionally difficult to do, leading them to fall to their doom and allowing the darkness to catch up with Luna. It should be noted that if the player gets caught in the darkness before jumping into the pit, the screen flashes creepy fan art of Pinkie Pie with a scream before heading to the ending described below.

After this, the screen goes back to the blue square part with a zalgofied version of the "You have met a terrible fate, haven't you..." text. But this is not the end, as for a short second, a messed-up 8-bit song (a slow version of Zorggn's "[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ol8iBITKZ0w You Gotta Share]") starts to play while some glitchy blocks start to appear on the screen, forming a path that Luna must follow upward, since to the right is a dead end. The higher you go, the darker the area gets. The player must navigate back to the left, where Pinkie Pie briefly appears before vanishing, and then jump back down. To the surprise of the player, the darkness comes back almost immediately with the music speeding up accordingly, forcing them to only move right and never stop running. Eventually, Luna will come across the dead-end, and as soon as she goes closer to it, Pinkie Pie appears with a maniacal smile and disappears alongside Luna. After the encounter, a sound of a heartbeat can be heard while a screenshot of Pinkie Pie from the episode Party of One appears slowly. As the heartbeat gets louder, the image flashes a zalgofied version briefly with static before returning to normal and fading out; in addition, a message pops up saying "Luna Game 4.exe has stopped working" as Pinkie can be heard laughing, to which the player must close the program, ending the 4th Luna Game from there.

On an important note, trying to reopen the game again, regardless of the ending the player got, will lead to a black screen with a caption that says "Your fate is already sealed...", meaning that the only way to play it again is to either install a Replay Program made for the game or to delete the game file and reinstall it.

==Luna Game 0==
Released on August 15th, 2011, it begins with Luna spawning in [https://mlp.fandom.com/wiki/Princess_Celestia Princess Celestia]'s castle. Some dialogue exchanges related to friendship are given to the player along with a new mechanic not present in the other Luna Games; they can interact with the other ponies by pressing the spacebar key when Luna is in front of them. After exiting the castle to the right, the player moves into a grassy area with a melodic tune playing ("[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4N0px8IlQYU Valley of the Wind]" by Elation). Aside from the slight texture changes, such as better-fed grass and even clouds in the background, the player will also notice that this instalment has quests, all of which have to do with the [https://hero.fandom.com/wiki/Mane_Six Mane Six] having problems.
[[File:Screenshot1.JPG|250px|thumb|The gameplay of Luna Game 0]]
As such, the player can play one of six different levels, each with a different item to collect, such as books for [https://mlp.fandom.com/wiki/Twilight_Sparkle#Alicorn Twilight Sparkle], candy for Pinkie Pie, snowflakes for [https://mlp.fandom.com/wiki/Rainbow_Dash Rainbow Dash], apples for [https://mlp.fandom.com/wiki/Applejack Applejack], emeralds for [https://mlp.fandom.com/wiki/Rarity Rarity], or carrots for Fluttershy. For each quest accomplished, the respective pony whose items have been fully collected will thank the player and ask them to collect more, totalling up to 49 items that the player must collect on a platforming stage, set to "[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RbI_uaL6NVI Winter -B- Gone: A Remix]" by "That" Technique. However, there is a 50th item that must be collected, which is a black-and-white version of the item. When the player touches it, the music halts with a loud boom. After this, all that can be done is to press on, jumping over a platform towards the solid ground, which suddenly disappears. As Luna falls to her doom, some dramatic music (actually from the game Amnesia: The Dark Descent) starts playing as the screen fades to black.

The screen flashes white, and an image of Luna in her "Nightmare Moon" form appears, followed by her eyes glowing and flashing. The screen returns to where the player last stopped before the falling, but everything now has a reddish tint. When the player continues back to the previous area, some foreboding ambience plays (again taken from Amnesia) as the ponies talk to Luna about how Pinkie Pie is looking for her. By the time the player reaches Pinkie Pie, she welcomes Luna and tells her, "you can never have too many parties!" As she continues to talk about parties, Luna is told by an ominous whisper that she must kill her, which gets aggravated, and tells her to "KILL HER NOW!" Following the voice, Luna slashes Pinkie from her back to her chest, where, in a state of shock, she goes "B... But... Why...?" After a short second, the top half of her body begins sliding off, and the game closes. To the player's dismay, the game suddenly reopens and displays an unnerving image of Pinkie Pie saying "This Isn't Over" with the same loud "LOVE ME!!" soundbite from the third game, which stops the game shortly after.

Like in the 4th game, trying to reopen the game again is pointless since it now displays more text saying "The past cannot be changed...", though it can be played again using the method stated above to play Luna Game 4 again.

=== Luna Game 0 demo ===
Days before its release, a demo of the game was posted. It immediately begins in the area with the main characters, who greet Luna in friendly manners when interacting with her. When the player talks to Pinkie, she wants to throw yet another party and requests that they let the other five know of her plans. Once the player is done informing the others, they return to Pinkie, who proceeds to go get things ready. Later that evening, the party had concluded, and Luna was seen thanking everyone for such a wonderful time. However, the background and the main cast fade to the red background of the bloody world from the fourth game, revealing Luna is imagining everything prior and is all alone. We cut to black, and the game's title appears in blood red.

Of special note, if the player uses the demo anytime between 11 A.M. and 5 P.M., the [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SjfUW-zcUJ8 Bloody Nav Room music] from the 2005 game ''The White Chamber'' will start playing over the title reveal.

==Luna Game End (A.K.A Luna Game 5)==
The official Luna Game 5, officially known as "Luna Game End", was later released on August 22nd, 2012. What is interesting is that this game was considered more of a "project" than all the others by Ceremi due to not only length but the fact that this was saved up to be the conclusion to the series for a whole year. At the time, users questioned why "Unknown project; unknown completion time" appeared on the official Luna Game website (see [[Luna Game#Trivia|Trivia]] below). By the time that the game came out on the date stated prior, the text was replaced with a link to a video that featured a black and red test signal, which becomes garbled by static before fading to a title simply saying "5" then fading out (5 meaning that this is the 5th and final instalment in the series, of course).

The player starts on a flat strip of grass at night with happy music playing in the background, which is "[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlWCQmlhZa0 Diamond Dogs (Euro Dirt Mix)]" by Eurobeat Brony. After a short amount of walking, the player encounters a familiar cliff. This time, when the player falls, they will safely land on the ground. After some walking, Luna's movement starts to slow down, and eventually the text bubble “I’m really tired” appears over her head. She collapses a moment later, along with another text bubble saying “I’ll just rest for a moment…” to which the screen slowly fades to black.

After the music stops, Luna is now in a white void with only a single black line as the ground below the player. When walking to the right, she encounters the 8-bit limbo sprites from Luna Game 4, where, if touched, it leads to the ground below them to vanish, coupled with some strange noises that sound like muffled electrical sparks. Luna appears to land on an invisible floor and, if she continues going to the right, light blue blocks representing the sky and brown and green blocks representing the ground randomly appear, which gradually generate a full grassland setting. After another few moments, a strange screech can be heard that causes the floor to disappear again, except this time the player falls, and the blue sky turns into an empty, dark red sky.
[[File:Luna5.png|thumb|240px|Luna Game 5]]
When the player hits the ground again, they are greeted by ground blocks with familiar line designs from Luna Game 4. Continuing to walk right will reveal a smaller cliff, where jumping on it again will trigger the ground blocks to randomly start turning into the same 8-bit limbo blocks, along with the second soundtrack in the 8-bit limbo world starting to play, and what appears to be a dark shadow eating up the screen to the left like the one in Luna Game 4. If the player does not escape from the darkness, it will lead back to the next map. Yet, should the player manage to outrun it, several obstacles will appear to make it more difficult to run, thus leading to the same outcome if the player attempts to go to the end.

Once caught, the player is shown Luna lying back down on the ground from the first scene where she took a nap, implying that it was a nightmare of sorts. After a moment, she stands up and starts to see some shadow ponies, all of which are the six main characters of the show, as well as an unnamed child pony. For some of the ponies, dialogue can appear, which is typically vague, such as "From Ashes to Shadows..." while others simply pace back and forth. After some static flashes, the text above the ponies' heads will change along with their original sprites, except for the filly. Fortunately, the player is now able to sprint, but it leads them to a dead-end, to which they must walk back and approach a shadowy Nightmare Moon. A cutscene occurs with Luna moving closer to Nightmare Moon, another creepy song ("Nightmare" by Erik Lasar from the APM Music library) starts to play, accompanied by a heartbeat, and twice, the fanart of the game flashes with static, and the "LOVE ME!!" soundbite. From there, Luna makes contact with Nightmare Moon, and the screen changes to black.

However, that is not all, for the aforementioned ending is 1 of 3 endings that the player can get. In this case, it's a bad ending as it insinuates that Luna either died or never woke up.

If the player fails to outrun the darkness in the nightmare sequence, the player gets a second bad ending; the game continues and features Luna transported to a dark realm with only a ground path to walk on; the only thing to do now is to start walking. However, the ground slowly starts to disappear beneath the player bit by bit, and they continue going until they eventually fall to their doom. For a split second, Luna is briefly replaced by Nightmare Moon as she falls. After, the player will hear a splat as the game cuts to black. This ending finishes by showing Luna's corpse on the ground, recycled from the third game.

If the player replayed Luna Games 4 and 0 and managed to outrun the darkness in the former, a somewhat good ending replaces the second bad ending. In the ending, the screen cuts to black like before, except this time, text appears reading "Princess Luna?" Luna is then shown surrounded by the Mane Six at night, as a happy melody ([https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxJliX8DEt8 Simon Hjort's version of "Fluttershy's Goodbye"]) plays in the background. Twilight claims that Luna passed out after helping Pinkie Pie out with getting her candies, and Luna says that she had some nightmares. Pinkie proposes that they throw a party to make her feel better, and Luna agrees with such an idea but notes that something still feels off. Twilight questions Luna's words, and she quickly replies that it is "nothing..." in an ominous way. Right before the game closes, during a few frames, Pinkie Pie's sprite changes into Pinkamena from the fourth game as a loud boom noise plays in the background, suggesting that Luna's ending may not be so "happily ever after" after all.

==Reactions and Popularity==
Despite the Luna Games having a simple design and appearing like an average indie horror game, the series has garnered a large following from individuals within and even outside the MLP fandom. Yet, with such high attention, the perception towards these games is generally mixed, with some who liked them and others who felt otherwise about the games.

On one hand, people praised the series for being a nice addition to the horror genre within their fanbase. To show their enjoyment of the series, some have made fan art and even fangames (see the examples below), which vary from sincere to satirical. There were even fanfictions made based on the series, with some examples being "Stay Awake Little Fillies" and "Lost History of Equestria." These people usually look past the rudimentary design and compliment certain aspects, such as the fact that the Luna model was custom-made or how the game created an illusion of sentience within the PC, such as how the first game added files after each subsequent replay of it. The Equestria Daily website also had a [https://forums.equestriadaily.com/index.php?/topic/38937-does-anybody-remember-luna-game/ thread] in which some bronies discussed if they recalled the series and their overall thoughts on it.

Yet, on the other hand, some felt that Luna Game is just like any other free horror game that could be found on sites like [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Itch.io Itch.io]: A cheap horror experience that ends with unsurprising jumpscares and nothing more than that. In other words, the presentation and execution were criticized, especially considering the rudimentary designs of the games and story, and being poked fun at for trying to take itself seriously. Aside from the gameplay itself, there was also a concern that had to do with the possibility that the first game could harm computers. For instance, [https://en.wikifur.com/wiki/Sethisto Sethisto], founder of Equestria Daily and a moderator of [https://en.wikifur.com/wiki/Furaffinity Fur Affinity], was worried about Luna Game because he was notified that it duplicated text files and [[screamer]] images, leading him to believe that it was some form of a virus. As such, he banned any games posted to Equestria Daily that included Luna Game. However, he would later apologize and write a statement that rescinded the ban after finding out that what he was concerned about was not true (see [[Luna Game#Trivia|Trivia]] and [[Luna Game#Virus Information|Virus Information]] below).
===Fanmade Luna Games===
====Luna Game 5 (Fanmade version)====
Released in February 2012, like all the other games in the series, the player will start as Princess Luna, who is immediately told to hold shift to run. The song "[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUw_ij8-xNU Call Upon the Seaponies (EuroSHOOBEDOO Mix)]" by Eurobeat Brony will play until the player encounters [https://mlp.fandom.com/wiki/Angel#:~:text=Angel%2C%20or%20Angel%20Bunny%2C%20is,played%20simultaneously%20with%20instrumental%20jingles. Angel] the Bunny. If the player gets close to him, he will run off while the exclamation sound effect from Metal Gear Solid plays. The player is teleported to another area where it is nighttime, with the song "[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pN4g8idFXig Luna's Anthem]" by Michael A. playing. The player has to collect nine bunnies, but while doing so, the player will come across a pit. Luckily, it is covered, so the player can not fall into it. But when the 8th bunny is collected, the pit opens, and the player has to jump into it.

When Luna jumps into the pit, the final bunny is found, but it is red instead of white. When Luna collects it, the music stops, and a passage will open with Pinkie Pie's silhouette seen in the doorway. When Luna enters, Shadow ponies will roam around, and the sky turns red. A witch's cry (taken from Left 4 Dead) can be heard, and static flickers multiple times as creepy music plays in the background. Upon the static appearing, the shadow ponies will be revealed. They are revealed as an unknown filly (who drops a quote from [[wikipedia:Poltergeist III|Poltergeist III]]: "Mommy, where are you? I can't see!"), Twilight Sparkle (who vanishes after the first flicker due to falling off the edge), [https://mlp.fandom.com/wiki/Noteworthy Noteworthy], [https://mlp.fandom.com/wiki/Derpy Derpy Hooves] (who says "Help us...please..."), and [https://mlp.fandom.com/wiki/Lyra_Heartstrings Lyra Heartstrings]. After passing Derpy, sound effects from Luna Game 0 when Luna kills Pinkie will be heard.

The audio will begin to shift to sounds of rabid eating (the track from The White Chamber used in 0's demo), and the camera begins to scroll after Luna has proceeded for a little bit. The player will have to make Luna run so she can keep up with the camera. If the player fails to keep up, a Pinkie Pie screamer will appear with the same scream as Luna Game 3 when Luna awakens, prompting the game to close.

When the player reopens the game and goes right, they will teleport to a room with a massive Pinkie Pie, which will slowly become more decrepit. Platforms will appear, and the player will have to jump into her mouth, and the sound of Pinkie Pie eating and swallowing Luna will be heard. In a weird turn of events, Luna will, for some reason, appear in the [https://earthbound.fandom.com/wiki/Devil%27s_Machine Devil's Machine] from [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EarthBound EarthBound] (right down to using the [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3i8eHaKil7Y same music]), and Pinkie Pie clones will appear and disappear. Suddenly, Nightmare Moon's head will appear, and words saying "YOU KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO" will appear with her. When the player goes down until the screen goes black, Luna will be seen lying on the ground, dead and bloodied. A black screen will appear with text saying "YOU'RE NEXT" superseded by a zalgofied Pinkie Pie popping up for a split second. As the game closes, if the player has a CD tray, it will open up by itself.
===== Friday the 13th Easter Egg and Other Secrets (Luna Game 5) =====
If the player changes their system date to Friday the 13th (in reference to the horror franchise [[Wikipedia:Friday the 13th (franchise)|of the same name]]), the player gets a special cutscene in which Pinkie will face Nightmare Moon. Nightmare Moon reveals why she killed Pinkie Pie, claiming that "a party doesn't make up for 1000 years of suffering", scaring Pinkie and causing her to talk some sense into the princess. Shockingly, Nightmare Moon breaks the fourth wall by saying "SHH! Someone is listening," and then a screamer of [https://mlp.fandom.com/wiki/Scootaloo Scootaloo] appears screaming "Leave This Place!"

If the player presses the keys "I, K, and T," it will trigger one of two Easter eggs, depending on the area of the game they're in. If they are pressed in either of the first two rooms before the game gets creepy, a zalgofied Pinkie screamer will appear, and the game will close. If they are pressed in the area with the shadow ponies, the static will flicker again, which can be used to reveal two things: a sprite of Pinkie Pie staring at the player shortly after passing Lyra, or the Ursa Minor from the episode Boast Busters looming behind Luna just before the running section. Starting in the section with the giant Pinkie head, these keys won't do anything.

Unlike the main Luna Games, there are a couple of ways that the player would close the game: firstly, if they haven't made it to the creepy part yet, pressing either ALT+F4 or the Escape button will close the game naturally. If ALT+F4 is pressed in the creepy part, the game appears to shut down, only to suddenly open again as the soundbite of Pinkie laughing from the fourth game is heard, and if Escape is pressed here, a different laughing sound will play.

Pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL will close the game at any time, with barely an objection except for the loud "COME OUT!!" soundbite from the third game blaring. However, the player is unable to move their cursor seemingly as a punishment, which means they must end the process in Task Manager via the arrow keys and Enter.

====The Lunar Game====
Released in November 2011, the player controls Luna using the arrow keys to move and space to jump. Once the player goes down a pit in the ground, the player assumes they are stuck. However, they can get out, though the only way to do so is to try moving and jumping around until the wall disappears. Afterwards, a message pops up reading, "And Luna lived happily ever after, and nothing scary happened, ever", closing the parody game.

====Lona's Gohem 48====
Released in August 2011, when the game finishes loading, the player appears on a poorly drawn grass field as [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0ZyTzgoLGA&t=1s Winter Wrap Up (Euro Spring Mix)] by Eurobeat Brony plays. If the player gets far enough, a poorly drawn version of Pinkie with a low-quality picture of a cleaver knife shows up with a scream ripped from the game ''[[wikipedia:Sonic Adventure|Sonic Adventure]]''. After a few seconds, it closes, leaving the player to realize that this is more of a parody game.

=== Luna Game X ===
Released in 2013, it's a fully-fledged story-based game detailing Luna attempting to put a stop to her nightmares once and for all.

=== Luna Game 3D ===
Released in 2016, an adventure game that brings the series' roots to a 3D world.

=== Luna Game Reformed series ===
A new series of fan-made games has been running since late 2020 that acts very much like the classics.

===On YouTube===
The Luna Games have quite a prominence on [[YouTube]]. YouTubers, big and small, have played through the series and sometimes provide their thoughts on the game. Some examples include YouTuber LaurenzSide (one who has over a million subscribers) and WhiteHawke, who have made full Let's Plays on all the games, including some of the fan games. The series was especially given attention by YouTubers who are solely dedicated to playing horror games, such as LuigiKid and RiskRim. Even one of the biggest YouTubers, [[Wikipedia:PewDiePie|PewDiePie]], played through the series in his typical style of comedy when it comes to scary games.

Yet, the Luna Games are not just known by Let's Players, as it has also branched out into the attention of channels that do "Top 10" lists. For example, YouTuber Top 10 Gaming made a video that mainly focused on Luna Game titled "Scariest Gaming Creepypastas - Luna Game." In another instance, a YouTuber called Tats TopVideos is now more focused on content related to the [[Wikipedia:SCP Foundation|SCP Foundation]] FANDOM, including Luna Game as the 18th scariest gaming creepypasta on his "Top 22 Gaming Creepypastas" list (starts at 4:42).

==Trivia==
*As mentioned earlier, the creator of the series was revealed to be Ceremi, which was first discussed on a [[wikipedia:4chan|4chan]] thread, which can be found [http://web.archive.org/web/20160412161711/https://desustorage.org/mlp/thread/26736308/ here].
*Although the series was initially posted on the aforementioned Equestria Daily website, it had its own website called "lunagame.net" which was launched on July 18, 2012. Although it is now defunct as of 2015, it contained information on current updates related to the creator and the series.
*The inspiration for starting up the series was from a series of deleted YouTube videos from a user called KizuxTheo (also no longer on YouTube), who uploaded videos with the screamer images used in the first game to creepy noises.
*With the series gaining much attention from the MLP fanbase, a rumor was spread about the application being malware that could supposedly ruin a user's RAM on their PC. However, this was disconfirmed as the game is safe based on viral scans.
*The Apple Bloom image in the first game is made by the artist Kloudmutt, and is also referred to as "Creepy Bloom".
*The Luna sprite used from the second game and beyond was by an artist named emeralddarkness.
*The original image that was used for the game over screen in Luna Game 2 was created by a user called PterosaurPony, and it can be found on [https://www.deviantart.com/pterosaurpony/art/MLP-FiM-Luna-s-Descent-204630918 DeviantArt].
*Pinkamena Pie, as used in the 4th Luna Game, has been a popular "alter-ego" character as seen in multiple horror works of the MLP fandom. Aside from the Zalgo images in the Luna Games, she had her creepypasta simply titled "[https://crst.fandom.com/wiki/Cupcakes Cupcakes]" which has been the most infamous work since then (although, ironically, the original author came out claiming that it was nothing but a fanfiction written as a joke).

'''lumber jack rabbit intro.wmv''' is a [[screamer]] video made by [[User:Aldrine Joseph 25|Aldrine Joseph 25]] and uploaded to YouTube on March 31st, 2024 as an April Fools' Day prank.

As the title suggests, the video starts with the Warner Bros. Pictures logo at the beginning of the 1953 ''Looney Tunes'' cartoon "Lumber Jack-Rabbit", customized to fit the 3D gimmick of the short. However, once the WB shield zooms in and gets really close to the screen, the edited BND mask from the [[ВИD of Doom]] screamer appears, shattering the camera lens and letting out the same roar as it did in the aforementioned screamer.

'''Little Jerry and the Closet''' is the second installment of the ''Jerry'' series by '''Max “HotDiggedyDemon” Gilardi'''. The series mainly focuses on Jerry Jhonson, who is a poor middle-aged man (sometimes still a kid) who has to deal with social problems while working in a shop. His father, Jason, verbally abused Jerry when growing up, and his mom died after an accident involving lightning.

The video starts off with Jason Jhonson reading the entire story of ''[[wikipedia:The Shining (novel)|The Shining]]'', and then tells him not to open a closet near him, which he calls "The Closet of Unimaginable Psychological Torment". Little Jerry's father tells him that the last person who entered there died and went to hell. As Little Jerry tries to sleep, he constantly hears noises from the closet. Scared, he tiptoes to the closet while dramatic string music plays (which is actually from the APM Music track “Dramatic Cue (d)”, which has played in shows like ''[[wikipedia:SpongeBob SquarePants|SpongeBob SquarePants]]'' and ''[[wikipedia:Ren and Stimpy|Ren and Stimpy]]'') and slowly opens the closet, only to reveal that there's nothing.

But as soon as the viewer expects nothing, a swift flurry of screamer faces pops up over a violent string screech (which is actually from the APM Music track “[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2eN5HOBrdA Drama Link (f)]”, which also played in shows like ''[[wikipedia:SpongeBob SquarePants|SpongeBob SquarePants]]'' and ''[[wikipedia:Ren and Stimpy|Ren and Stimpy]]''), accompanied by a woman's bloodcurdling screaming voice (which would be later used in the [[Suicide Mouse]] creepypasta). They include:
*A close-up image of [[Regan MacNeil]] from ''[[wikipedia:The Exorcist|The Exorcist]]''.
*The [[What's Wrong?|What's Wrong]] face.
*A highly contrasted image of a screaming red humanoid with bulging blue eyes and crooked teeth.
*A close-up image of Patrick Bateman from ''[[wikipedia:American Psycho (film)|American Psycho]]''.
*A black-haired doll with its head turned around, revealing a bleeding mouth with sharp teeth.
*A red-haired toddler with dilated pupils and a zombified mouth.
*[[wikipedia:Bat_Boy_(character)|Bat Boy]].
*A woman with long hair, a large mouth with crooked teeth, and a lack of nose and eyes.
*An edited image of Candy Wife from ''[[Wikipedia:The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack|The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack]]'' with a skeleton faded''.''
*The demon woman from ''[[wikipedia:Dead_Birds_(2004_film)|Dead Birds]]''.
*[[Pazuzu]].
*G-Man from the ''[[wikipedia:Half-Life_(series)|Half-Life]]'' series (albeit edited to be faceless).
*The mutant rabbit from the ''[[wikipedia:Twilight Zone: The Movie|Twilight Zone: The Movie]]'' segment ''It's a Good Life''.
*[[Jeff the Killer]].
*A zombie with dark-blue skin, blank white eyes, and black hair.
*A grayscaled image of a girl with black hair and pitch-black eyes.
*A skull with human features and soulless eyes.
*[[wikipedia:Kuchisake-onna|Kuchisake-onna]].
*Salad Fingers from the animated web-series of the [[wikipedia:Salad Fingers|same name]].
*An elderly ghost woman with crooked teeth in a hallway.
*[[wikipedia:Mona_Lisa|Mona Lisa]] (albeit edited to have an alien's face).
*The [[It|titular character]] (also known as Pennywise) from the 1990 miniseries ''[[wikipedia:It (miniseries)|It]]''.
*The [[SCARY EYE-POPPING CUBE PUZZLE]] screamer (albeit colored green).
* The demon child from [[wikipedia:Dead_Birds_(2004_film)|''Dead Birds''.]]
*[[wikipedia:Barbra Streisand|Barbra Streisand]].
*The poster of ''[[wikipedia:Ghost Dad|Ghost Dad]]''.

He then quickly shuts the closet, frightened to the point where his hair turns white. Then, he opens the closet again and shuts it, repeating the same action over and over. His dad angrily asks him, "What's all the racket in there?!". Little Jerry then runs to his bed. Jason notices that his hair is white, assumes that he has dyed his hair, scolds him for that, and then shuts the door. After that, the credits roll while the song [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AxcM3nCsglA ''Monster Mash''] by Bobby Pickett plays in the background before the video ends.

== Trivia ==
* The screamer flurry could count as flashing lights, since the screamer is so fast.
* In the video "Junior" (the 4th installment of ''Jerry''), the closet is referenced in the end.
* The screamer was later used in a YouTube Poop titled (insert quote from the movie here), which is a ''[[wikipedia:Monsters,_Inc.|Monsters, Inc.]]'' YTP by cartoonlover98 uploaded on October 21st, 2014.

'''Hell On Kitty''' is a [[animation]] uploaded to [[YouTube]] by user TwistedGrim in October 30th, 2013. Not only is the video a black comedy satire on [[wikipedia:Hello_Kitty|Hello Kitty]], but it also contains a secret [[screamer]] at the tail end of the video. According to the description, it is a [[creepypasta]] (hence why the titular character is included in HBruna's take on ''The Last Supper'' with creepypasta characters, which is made one year later).

The video begins with Hello Kitty waking up and walking to the bathroom, where she gets out a toothbrush. Remembering that she has no mouth, she throws the brush away and goes outside. Kitty walks through a field and encounters two familiar-looking animals: a rabbit and a frog, both resembling My Melody and Keroppi, respectively, with the former burning an ant with a magnifying glass. She attempts to call out to them, but her lack of mouth again makes her consider otherwise.

Later, Kitty is seen preparing a snack for herself and tries to take a bite from her sandwich, but again, nothing happens, now causing her to panic. She then tries to drink her glass of water, only to spill it all over herself. She drops her food and faints, landing under the table. She starts to hyperventilate, but then starts struggling to breathe. She sees the phone and attempts to answer it, but remembering her crisis, falls back to the floor. Looking to her right, she sees a knife lying near her and gains a psychotic expression. She reaches for the knife before the scene cuts to black.

The credits then roll, and after, we see a small scene of the sandwich with a blood-stained bite in it, along with previews of the makers' other animations. However, just when it seemed like the ending, a close-up of Kitty's face, now with yellow eyes and a large gaping hole for a mouth filled with sharp teeth, appears with a loud screech while the image spazzes out. During the screamer, various texts appear on the image reading "Hell on Kitty", "You are gay 4 pausing", "Sorry for this", and "If you read this you got no life."

'''Guess the bunny's favorite fruit''' (Japanese: うさちゃんの好きな果物当て, ''Usa-chan no Sukina Kudamono Ate'') is a [[Adobe Flash Player|Flash]] game, made up entirely of hand-drawn graphics. It was first hosted in 2005 on "29g.net", a Japanese website which featured other games and animations.

It shows the player five fruits (an '''apple''', '''grape''', '''banana''', '''cherry''', and '''peach''') and text in a speech bubble, through which the titular bunny says 私の好きな果物を当ててね ♪ (''Watashi no sukina kudamono o atete ne'', '''"guess my favorite fruit"'''). If the player clicks on the apple, grape, peach, or cherry, red text pops up which reads 不正解 (''fuseikai'', '''"incorrect answer"'''). This logically leaves the banana as the correct answer, but clicking it causes a flashing distorted image of a woman to appear along with an extremely loud monkey scream (later used in [[Saddam Hussein Execution]]). It was also featured on [[Winterrowd.com|Winterrowd]] at one point.<ref>youtube.com/watch?v=Y2nK2hr7mCE=132</ref>

'''Goodbye to the Dolphin's Dream''' (イルカの夢でさようなら, '''Iruka no Yume de Sayounara''') is a Japanese [[screamer]] website, considered to be one of the words you shouldn't search on Google. The author of this site is actually the Vocaloid music producer '''“ATOLS”''': he made this site when he was a teenager and was studying HTML.

When the page is opened, a girl with pink hair says "''Please go ahead after killing me!''" in a lovely voice. If you start clicking on her illustration, she is violently killed, and strangely she will regenerate too. The strangest thing that you can notice after killing the girl is that the blood pool has a shape of a dolphin, probably referencing the site's title.

The website was taken down due to the end of GeoCities on Japan on March 31, 2019.
== Content ==
A sliding vertical selection of black squares will be displayed on the main page. The result of clicking one of them will be these:

(Please note the order of the first four links swapped throughout the years)

===First square===
A hand is displayed.

===Second square===
There is a comic (マンガ) of the aforementioned girl and a stuffed rabbit. The girl eventually beheads the rabbit. The rabbit farts (オナラ) and then the girl screams that he is not her friend, and beheads him. If the user keeps clicking, some abstract art drawn in black ink shows up.

===Third square===
A low quality animation of the girl with red irises talking with no sound. Clicking on the animation leads to another similar animation of the girl moving her mouth more aggressively and with mostly black eyes. A strange quiet sound loops in the background.

===Fourth square===
A rapidly flashing square with loud music.

===Fifth square===
Now, more things to click on. This page seems to mostly contain links to listen to the site owner’s experimental (or deliberately bad) music. Every link contains different audio.

Here's the description of each link's audio:

*'''<Behind '''(<背後, ''<Haigo''): A robotic voice saying "3...2...1..." and then some strange noises will be heard. This song is called "Monaural".
*'''まんこからウンコ '''(''Manko kara Unko''): A "chipmunk" voice speaking inaudibly before becoming an extremely loud growling sound.
*'''I am 17 years old '''(私は、１７歳, ''Watashi wa, 17-sai''): A chipmunk voice inaudibly singing with a cute robotic beat.
*'''DieDieDie '''(死ね死ね死ね, ''ShineShineShine''): An extremely loud offtime chiptune song with a chipmunk voice singing inaudibly. This song is called "If you listen 96 times, you will die."
*'''................................................. ......''': A loud speedcore beat.
*'''Medicine '''(お薬, ''Okusuri''): A slow-tempo song with a voice promoting a medicine, probably the most normal audio on the site.
*'''※''': A fast song accompanied by a unintelligible singing.
*'''I still love you and think about you every day. '''(今でも君のことが好きなんだよ毎日思ってるよ。, ''Imademo kimi no koto ga suki nanda yo mainichi omotteru yo.''): It starts with a cute voice singing "I always loved you for a long time" (''君のことずっと前から好きだったの''), but then it gets distorted and faster after repeating "I always always always always loved you" (''ずっとずっとずっとずっと愛した'') and a voice whispering "I loved you..." (''愛してたのに'') can be heard. After this, it will just be a ear-rape music repeating "I loved you! I always loved you" (''愛してたんだよ！ずっとずっと愛してたのに'') until the end.
**The use of ''noni ''(のに) carries the implication of unexpectedness or dissatisfaction and is often used for complaint. So the literal translation of this song could be "''I always '''loved''' you...''" or "'''''Even if''' I always '''loved''' you..''.", as both can represent a complaint or dissatisfaction.
*'''※''': A voice singing to extremely fast music.
*'''<Goodbye '''(<さようなら, ''<Sayounara''): A cheerful chiptune song. Another normal audio. This song is called "Again".
*'''>＊''': Strange quiet sounds.
*'''>Mouth '''(>口, ''>Kuchi''): A loud speedcore beat.
*'''<Shi '''(<し, ''<Shi''): You will be redirected to a page repeating "death" (死) in Japanese, just like in the seventh square.

===Sixth square===
More squares here. You will only be redirected to four pages after clicking on the squares: one that displays a fast array of some random images, a bandage that says Japanese text, the page repeating "''death''" in Japanese, '''and one that will redirect you to the fourth square page, so be careful.'''

===Seventh square===
A picture of a tulip will appear. If you click on it, you will be redirected to a page with "''death''" (死) repeating in Japanese, and moving around the screen similar to the squares.

===Eighth square===
You will be redirected to a page called "''rapeme.org''". Despite the URL, the site is actually harmless and there are only some beautiful yet shocking illustrations by an artist called Ryuko Azuma.

===Ninth square===
You will be redirected to ATOLS's website.

===Tenth square===
Again, you will be redirected to another site called MMLAB.

==Creator==
''ATOLS'' is a Japanese electronic music composer and Vocaloid producer who began experimenting with [[video]] art and [[animation]] in the early 90s. By 1995, he was self-taught in electronic music, using rhythm machines and cassette recorders to create visualized sound. In 2001, he began posting music under the name better on the Japanese indie music site ''muzie.co.jp'' (where the website often links to), participating in rock bands' tours and providing tracks to rappers.<ref>vocaloid.fandom.com/wiki/ATOLS</ref><ref>https://atols.net/light/profile.html</ref> His style are often bizarre, random and strange. As for his own work ''Goodbye to the Dolphin's Dream'', he built this site during his years as a teenager while studying about [[wikipedia:HTML|HTML]].

==History==
[[File:AnimeComic-Cell.png|thumb|200px|AnimeComic-Cell from ''[[wikipedia:GeoCities|Yahoo! Japan GeoCities]]'' around the time the site was made.]]
The [[website]] for ''Goodbye to the Dolphin's Dream'' started as a site for personal use by ATOLS. It stayed under the AnimeComic-Cell section inside ''[[wikipedia:GeoCities|Yahoo! Japan GeoCities]]'' during the year 2000. It showed messages like "Stepping over the window. Sorry, I haven't shouted yet" and "Towards the time for moving!". These messages are paired with images featuring "Dolphin Girl" along with her other variations. The site included a reference to the Japanese light novel series ''[[wikipedia:Sister Princess|Sister Princess]]'' ending ("Sister Princess has ended..." シスプリおわっちゃったね...) before changing in 2004 into a major [[wikipedia:alternate reality game|alternate reality game]] horror [[website]]. The title might be just another obscure message about Dolphin's Dreams by Konami.
==Media==
The [[website]] was part of the list in "[[Must Not Search Wiki|Words You Should Not Search]]" series, according to Lesathpool on October 25, 2010.<ref>youtube.com/watch?v=5b6INOFpJTU&t=59s</ref> The earliest foreign mention of ''Goodbye to the Dolphin's Dreams'' came through an English-speaking [[YouTube]]r ''[[wikipedia:SomeOrdinaryGamers|SomeOrdinaryGamers]]''. After a few months, Austrian YouTuber, Luigikid Gaming uploaded his own gameplay recording to [[YouTube]], which gained toward 142,000 views by March 2026.<ref>youtube.com/watch?v=YyqyvgrO5jg</ref> The website was also covered in a Thai commentary involving Japanese horror [[websites]] like Red Room; it gained around 100,000 views in less than five months.<ref>youtube.com/watch?v=8-xi4_vkl-k</ref>

'''Ghost Caught On Tape''' is a [[Screamer]] video uploaded to [[YouTube]] by user, ''couchpotatotheatre'' on May 25, 2011. The video is an obvious take-on of the [[Ghost Caught on Tape|video with the same name]].

The video starts off in a room that has a rocking chair, a doll on a couch, a plushie of [[wikipedia:Schnuffel|The Schnuffel Bunny]], and etc. In the background, you can hear what sounds to be of a TV. Then, the dolls head slowly turns towards the camera, and the blanket it’s lay on moves a little too. And then, the rocking chair starts to move. Suddenly, a girl crawls up to the camera in a fast motion, and shouts “''BOO!”''. After that, it cuts to text on a black background that says ‘''STORMYLILAC93''’

FNAF Halloween Maze Game

'''FNAF Halloween Maze Game''' is a [[screamer]] [[game]] created by [[DeviantArt]] user Jenny ''Chibixi'' Xu on October 31st, 2015 as a [[wikipedia:Halloween|Halloween special]].

The game is a parody of [[The Maze]] but with [[wikipedia:Five Nights at Freddy's|Five Nights at Freddy's]] and Halloween-themed. The gameplay consists of three levels requiring the player to navigate a cursor through a maze without contacting the walls. While the first two levels feature innocuous illustrations of characters such as ''[[wikipedia:Bonnie (Five Nights at Freddy's)|Bonnie]]'' and ''[[wikipedia:Freddy Fazbear|Freddy Fazbear]]'', the third level ends in a jump-scare. Upon completion, an animated image of ''[[wikipedia:Balloon Boy|Balloon Boy]]'' rushes toward the screen, accompanied by a loud, echoing scream and a looping recording of a child laughing.

A post-game dialogue box displays the player's completion time and a "replay" function. The original [[DeviantArt]] post encouraged players to comment with the phrase "I love BB!" to signal their completion. Compared to ''[[Maze Game DX]]'', the software includes anti-cheat measures; attempting to bypass the maze via right-clicking or holding the cursor will trigger an immediate "Game Over" screen.

Following the discontinuation of Adobe Flash Player on December 31, 2020, the animation is now actually just a still GIF asking the viewer to play it. However, a workaround consists of accessing the download link on the page to obtain a raw copy of the animation.

'''Find the difference between three pics''' is a [[screamer]] video created and uploaded to [[YouTube]] on July 27, 2010 by user hotrode27.

The video starts off with the first picture of two guys (Presumably father and son) at the beach with their vintage car by the hot dog stand, prompting the viewers to find 9 differences. After 14 seconds, another picture shows [[wikipedia:Hello_Kitty|Hello Kitty]] looking at herself in the mirror, and then after 16 seconds, the final picture shows an Easter bunny holding an egg. Unlike the first picture, the second and last one only have 3 differences and were quick to find, however, just a few seconds a picture of [[Regan MacNeil]] from ''[[Wikipedia:The_Exorcist|The Exorcist]]'' pops up accompanied by a loud audio of a female screaming.

=== Differences in each picture ===
First one:
# The sun is missing
# There were three palm trees
# One seagull is missing
# The hot dog doesn't have a bite mark
# The man's Hawaiian shirt doesn't have flower details on it
# The car bonnet doesn't have a sphere
# The car grille is completely different
# The football sticker is missing on the bumper
# The surfboard's color is black and white striped
Second one:
# Hello Kitty has four sides on her bow
# She has two shirt collars
# Her arm wasn't raised up
Third one:
# The Easter bunny's bow tie is pink rather than red
# The Easter egg has cubes on the green line
# The Easter bunny doesn't have lines on its toes

'''demon caught on tape at disney world''' is a [[screamer]] video uploaded to [[YouTube]] by user, '''couchpotatotheatre''' on May 14, 2014.

The video opens with a black background and white text stating "Demon caught on tape at Disney World." The video then transitions to a man and his daughter interacting with two costume mascots, Thumper and Miss Bunny from [[Wikipedia:Bambi|Bambi]]. The man, identified as "DDM" from "Couch Potato Theatre", introduces the segment by saying, "Hi, this is DDM from Couch Potato Theatre, and you're watching Bunny Fan TV!" The man and his daughter then dance and high-five the mascots. At the 0:59 mark, an edited image of a basketball mask head with a face on it, known as "the demon," appears on the right-hand side of the screen from above a bush and then disappears, accompanied by a loud violin screech. The video then prompts the viewer to ask, "Did you see it?" and replays the footage, this time slowed down. The video also poses the question, "What is it?" and shows the slowed-down footage again.
