A script on the website would also try to use the "mailto" and "callto" functions with the intent to cause the viewer's computer to freeze.

Last Measure uses JavaScript functions such as the 'onmouseover' and 'onclick' functions to ignore pop-up blockers and spawn windows containing shock images to move and bounce around the viewer's screen.

Some people claim that Last Measure contains actual malware, though this claim is false, as the script of the website doesn't download any kind of software on the viewer's device, and the site can be closed by using Task Manager or by resetting the affected computer. Some web browsers including Internet Explorer and other IE-based browsers may handle the website very poorly and may cause the entire device to crash.

A few versions use a script called 'StatsMeasure', which leaks the visitor's clipboard data online. Later versions of Last Measure used a Java applet called 'CoffeeMeasure' which spawns several Java application windows that move around the screen. The Unified X version of Last Measure contains a montage of shock images, including images from [[The Pain Series]] and other images from various shock sites. Later, on May 5, the website updated with a link above the screamer that led the user to a blog that was written by the creator himself, stating that someone asked him to purchase the domain (among other things). After that, on October 1, the website again updated and now directed the user to a Facebook link to the creator's account, as mentioned earlier. Right next to the TMD link, there was a hyperlink that redirected to an Oranum chat. In 2013, the same content of the website remained, but the link to the blog was removed. The file interestingly later changed to "s.swf", and the title changed to "SHAFOU" which rapidly switched from capital to lowercase. On February 2016, the website link to the creator's blog was added again. Later on, the website was replaced and turned into a redirect to [[Herobrine.com]], presumably made by the same creator. However, the next year, the website reverted to the same content, but with a picture of [[Regan MacNeil]] instead of a .swf file. A link to [[Herobrine.com]] was added above. [[Herobrine.com]] at the time was a blog website, and the "Home" link redirected to Shafou.com, revealing that the author of Shafou.com and [[Herobrine.com]] are most likely the same person. After some time, the link to [[Herobrine.com]] was removed, and both of them later changed to have the same content after 2 years.

===October 2019 - Present ===
In October 2019, the website was replaced entirely with a note: "你访问的这个网站域名正在以9.9万元的价格出售中，交易方式为阿里云带价PUSH，如买请联系 13225271551 不买不要联系", which translates to: "''The domain name of the website you are visiting is being sold at a price of 99,000 yuan. The transaction method is PUSH with Alibaba Cloud price. If you want to buy it, please contact 13225271551.
